About Bower House
Bower House occupies a converted townhouse on Cambridge Street, the kind of tall Victorian terrace typical of this part of London, now run as a straightforward serviced hotel rather than a grand establishment. The setting is residential and close-packed, with the scale and character of the building itself part of the appeal for those wanting something more personal than a big chain hotel.
Rooms are en-suite and kept clean, with family rooms available for those travelling in a group, plus drinks available in-room. Some guests have found the rooms can pick up noise from the street or corridors, worth bearing in mind if you're a light sleeper. Staff are on hand around the clock at 24-hour reception, and there's a concierge service, luggage storage and meeting rooms for those combining business with sightseeing. Breakfast is a highlight, with a buffet that includes hot options served each morning.
The location near Victoria Station makes onward travel simple, whether heading to other parts of London or beyond, and public transport links from here are good. There's a choice of pubs, bars and restaurants nearby, along with entertainment options, making it easy to fill evenings without straying far from the hotel.

Exceptionally clean and well located stay. This is the definition of a hidden gem. The city has endless options when it comes to hotels, but man this place has got it right. Price was very fair, and this is the first hotel in years that I didn't need to re-clean to feel comfortable! I began my post check-in routine, and found absolutely nothing that needed attention. Whoever cleans this place literally delivers the 5 star reviews for this brand. Well, well done! I have never felt more comfortable. Don't even hesitate to book here

Overall for 4 nights it was comfortable enough. Room did not look like website photo. Tiny bathroom. Smelled like paint because of work being done on the floor below. Warm enough (winter stay). It’s a 10-15 min walk to the metro but it’s a quiet street so better for sleeping.

Cute and well-located hotel with great value for money. Our room was pleasant, spacious, and very clean, with nice little touches like tea and coffee, and the bed was really comfortable. The hotel’s neighborhood is lovely and convenient for public transportation. However, there were a few drawbacks: • The rooms are not very soundproof, and we could hear a lot of noise from the people above. • The bathroom door handle broke during our stay, so we couldn’t close it. Apart from that, we had a great stay at Bower House overall.

Smelled a bit nasty upon arrival but the room is overall in good condition. Compared to the price this hotel is good value.
