About Central Comfort Rooms

A guest kitchen is the standout feature at Central Comfort Rooms, giving visitors the option to cook their own food rather than rely on eating out every night. This is a straightforward, adults-only guesthouse on Fonthill Road in Finsbury Park, aimed at travellers who want a no-frills base rather than a full-service hotel.

Rooms are simple and shared bathrooms are the norm, keeping things affordable for anyone prioritising location and price over extras. Free WiFi runs throughout, and practical touches such as luggage storage, a 24 hour reception and a laundry service make it manageable for both short stays and longer visits.

Finsbury Park puts guests within reach of central London while staying somewhere quieter and easier on the budget. Nearby streets offer pubs, restaurants and other eateries, along with entertainment options close by, so there's no shortage of places to eat or spend an evening once you're back from exploring the city.

Honestly is the worst experienced we ever had. This place is not for tourist. We were the only ones. The rest of the rooms were occupied for young man and a few woman who were using some sort of substances for what they told us. We felt very unsafe there we didn’t even left the room all night to go to the bathroom because we felt unsafe. It’s basically impossible to sleep, we slept maybe for 3 hours every night. They played music all night long and moved room to room banging the doors non stop. The owner came a few times during the nights because we have to message him as we were really unwell there. We should have left the first day really but the owner ensured us that the “bad” people were leaving the next morning but every night got worse and worse. We love London but we couldn’t enjoy our holidays because we couldn’t sleep at night and it really affected our visit to the city. It’s not fair to pay almost 300€ to feel unsafe and not being able to sleep. Do not stay here it’s not safe for tourist and you won’t enjoy your holidays

Central comfort apartments perfectly met my needs on a recent business trip. Rooms were clean and elegant. Location was perfect for travel to central London. The area was lively and there was plenty of options to eat out close by. The team was easy to deal with and supported all my needs. Will definitely stay here again.

Here's my experience with this place. The pictures on the site and here look decent enough, but that wasn't my experience at all. I'd give it 0 stars if that was an option. It is a self service hotel, which might be fine if it cheap, except for the other issues. It's also not well marked in what seems to be a not so great part of town. It's quite dirty and littered around the area close to it, sure it's really close to the tube, but I'd rather be a little farther away and have a decent experience. For the money I paid, I expected an actual hotel. I've had better service in actual hotels in multiple places in Europe for less than I paid here. This was more like a cheap hostel for regular hotel cost. Horrible deal! The room I was in had bare wood floors with screws protruding so my shoes caught them on several occasions, rust on the cabinet, tall cabinets on uneven boards to get it off the bare floor, shared bathrooms that were clearly not regularly cleaned, and a ceiling that needed maintenance. I took a chance and booked it for two nights, big mistake. I was so annoyed with the sanitary conditions that I just left and went elsewhere for the second night I was in London. Attached are some pictures I took of the place. I will never return and would not recommend anyone ever use this place.

Cons: The photos are misleading! The bathroom is shared between 3 rooms, they are not ensuite. No toiletries, slippers etc were provided. The room looked quite dodgy, the windows provided no sound insulation, curtains were ineffective. The wooden floors were falling apart - protruding corners and missing screws. Pros: The radiator works well and the TV provided was very good. The housekeeper was friendly and helpful when we accidentally locked ourselves out. Very near to Finsbury park station. Conclusion: Misleading and not worth the money at all. If the photos were not misleading, this would be 2 stars.
