This is the kind of hotel that’s always a pleasure to stay at. It has personality, a great vibe and good price for London. The bed was extremely comfortable and with spacious rooms. The location is great, few steps away from the underground. I would recommend booking it!

Stayed in January for 7 nights and I loved its laid back feel. The bathroom was dated and flushing often required a double tap. Breakfast was buffet and quite ample. Best part was easy access to transit and Hyde Park. I was a solo traveler but this hotel would be good for a couple also.

Stayed in the Columbia for three nights, and liked every single one! The room I got was bigger than expected, the furniture is brand new, very comfy bed and nice bedding. The shower was amazing too: instantly hot water, great pressure, as a foreigner I did enjoy playing with the sink and two taps:) Breakfast was lovely too: cereal, yogurt, variety of breads, some cheese and ham, really nice coffee. All in all I will definitely stay again once I’m back in London. The location is very convenient as well, 10 min is relaxed walking to Paddington, bus stop right in front of the hotel, Kensington Park across the road. Loved all of it!! Though please note that the building itself is quite old, so the floors are really squeaky, and the walls are thin, so if you are a light sleeper this will definitely be a problem. The rest is just a part is experience! Thank you a lot!

Great location, amazing building-loved the stairway with the "selfie" mirror. Beautiful lobby, breakfast room. They also have got happy hour in a very cosy lounge area. No issues with noise, levels are very reasonable for a hotel. But top is the staff, everybody I came into contact were absolutelly amazing, helpful and coming out of their way to help. I hope I would have a chance to come back.
