About Dover Hotel - B&B
Thirty-four rooms make up the Dover Hotel - B&B, a straightforward guesthouse at 44 Belgrave Road in London. Its position near Victoria Station is the main draw, putting guests within easy striking distance of the wider city, and the concierge team on hand is regularly singled out for going the extra mile with directions, luggage and general local know-how.
Rooms are kept clean and comfortable, with drinks provided and family rooms available for those travelling with children, though some rooms run on the smaller side. Breakfast is included, and there's free WiFi and luggage storage for guests arriving early or leaving late; a kitchen is also on site. Breakfast itself has had a mixed reception, so it's worth keeping expectations modest on that front.
There's no parking on site, but chargeable parking can be found nearby for those driving in. Pubs, restaurants and other eateries are within easy walking distance, and Chessington World of Adventures gives visitors a further reason to venture beyond central London during their stay.

Staying here for a few days whilst my house is having some renovations. Absolutely awful hotel. First of all there are bugs just crawling around the room and on the stairs. Secondly, this hotel is not accessible at all! It is not suitable for people with accessibility issues. There is no lift in this hotel at which means carrying heavy luggage up old narrow stairs. Once you get into the bedroom it’s not much better. The room is split into two sections. Once you walk in there’s a small tiny box, on your right up a step is a small bathroom. To the front of you is a very steep 2 steps. But the main problem is trying to navigate in this small little box is awful as the doors do not stay open. They’re extremely heavy fire doors. Trying to squeeze through whilst not tripping and falling all whilst holding a heavy fire door open - not great. The room it’s self is basic but that’s fine. It’s decorated quite standardly, however, the room is a literal oven, there’s no air conditioning at all. The windows of the room do not open properly. I could not sleep at all. The receptionist provided me a fan, however it just pushed hot air around. For a hotel to not have ac is crazy. However there is specially an issue with my room with the heat. The reception and hallways were not too bad regarding the heat. My room is unbearable. The bathroom is small but does the job, however the whole bathroom gets drenched with water when showering. The last thing is the WiFi, it is incredibly slow. I was struggling to work or stream as it just was so slow. Overall, do not stay in this hotel. Not worth the stress!

The reception staff are very helpful here. The rooms are quite small but very clean and comfortable. But the stairs are steep and if you are oldish and have heavy suitcases you might struggle a bit. It is very convenient for Victoria coach and rail stations and there are lots of great restaurants and cafes nearby. Great for a short stay

This is not my first stay at the Donver Hotel, and I chose to come back because of its location, price, and the cleanliness of the rooms. Although the rooms are quite small, it’s also important to note that the walls are very thin, you can clearly hear people in other rooms as well as those staying above you. Since the management changed the rules, breakfast has been removed and guests are now charged an extra £5 per bag to store luggage. Unfortunately, because of these changes, this will be my last stay at this hotel.

Excellent stay. The hotel was very clean, warm, and comfortable, with hot water available at all times. Despite being in a very central location, the area was quiet and felt safe, which made sleeping and resting very easy. The hotel is perfectly located next to Victoria Station and within walking distance of Buckingham Palace. The staff at the reception were professional, friendly, and very helpful. Great value for money and an ideal base for exploring London. I would definitely stay here again.
