About easyHotel Croydon Town Centre
For anyone after a straightforward, budget-friendly stay rather than a fussed-over experience, easyHotel Croydon Town Centre does the job well. It's positioned near East Croydon Station, making it a practical base for visiting south London or moving on into the capital, and it suits travellers who care more about price and location than extras.
The hotel has 103 rooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, air conditioning and free WiFi, with accessible rooms also available. Rooms are generally kept clean and have often been recently refurbished, though some are on the small side and can feel a little stuffy, and shower pressure isn't always consistent. A lift serves the building, and there's luggage storage for those arriving early or leaving late. Staff are consistently described as friendly, helpful and professional, which counts for a lot at this price point.
There's no on-site restaurant, but pubs, bars and eateries are all within easy reach nearby, so guests aren't short of options for food and drink. Prices range from GBP 29 to 160 depending on dates and room type, making it a flexible choice for budget-conscious visitors to the area.
What guests say
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel. I booked a single room for one person and it was simply perfect — a wonderful, ideal option. I’m sure it would also work well for two people, and they likely have larger rooms for bigger groups as well. The room itself was small and compact, but had absolutely everything you might need. It was very tidy and extremely clean, with a comfortable mattress which made for a good night’s sleep. The only small thing I would mention is that I would have preferred the window to open a bit wider, as I felt quite warm at times and would have appreciated more fresh air. However, I understand that safety regulations may limit how far it can open. There was a small gap, but it wasn’t quite enough for me personally — though this is just down to my own preferences. The shower was great, the towels were clean, and the room was pleasantly quiet. The staff were absolutely lovely. I was kindly allowed to check out a little later — instead of 10am, I stayed until 1pm for a £20 fee, which was very convenient. The reception staff were all very friendly, helpful, and professional. The lady who checked me in at night was especially warm and welcoming, and the same goes for the wonderful, friendly staff member who assisted me at check-out in the morning — she helped me with everything and made the experience very smooth. And smily ❤️ A big thank you and warm greetings to her.

Stayed here for 4 nights/5 days, and it was excellent value for money, especially considering London's prices. While the city can feel quite congested, the hotel offers a comfortable and convenient base. The location is great, with Victoria just about 20 minutes away. A special mention to Rajesh at the front desk, who was always warm, cheerful, and incredibly helpful. He went out of his way to help me navigate Croydon and assisted with several small requests throughout my stay, making the experience even more pleasant.

I’ve been staying at the easyHotel Croydon Town Centre for over a month now. It’s a very clean, decent hotel that offers great value for the price. What really makes the stay excellent is the staff. Sinda at the front desk is amazing—always incredibly friendly, approachable, and ready to help. Michael from housekeeping also does a wonderful job keeping my room clean and goes the extra mile by making sure I have extra pillowcases and towels.
