About Epping Forest Hotel
The edge of Epping Forest, on London's northeastern fringe, is a leafy spot for a hotel that still keeps the city within easy reach, and Epping Forest Hotel makes the most of that position on Oak Hill. Highams Park lies close by, and Festival Leisure Park gives guests somewhere to head for an evening out, while the surrounding area has pubs, bars and restaurants within easy distance.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning and free WiFi, along with room service and in-room drinks for those who prefer not to venture out. The hotel has a restaurant and bar on site, serves breakfast, and can provide packed lunches for guests heading into the forest or further afield. A garden and picnic area add outdoor space, and there are meeting rooms and business services for those travelling on business, plus facilities for weddings.
Practical touches include free on-site parking, a lift, laundry service and luggage storage, and pets are welcome. It's a straightforward base for exploring Epping Forest and the surrounding parts of London, with the essentials covered on site.
People say this hotel offers delicious Sunday roasts, steak, and chicken, as well as a good selection of wines and cocktails. They also highlight the friendly and attentive service, the beautiful and spacious venue, and the dog-friendly atmosphere.
