About Fielding Hotel

Step into a room at the Fielding Hotel and you'll find Victorian-style decor with a cosy, traditional feel, along with an en-suite bathroom, air conditioning and free WiFi. Family rooms are available for those travelling with children, and extras like room service and in-room drinks make settling in easy after a day of sightseeing.

The hotel sits on a pedestrian street tucked away from the traffic, which makes for a quieter base than many central London stays. There's a gym on-site for guests who want to keep up a routine, plus luggage storage for early arrivals or late departures. The building itself has plenty of period character, in keeping with its Covent Garden surroundings.

Beyond the front door, Covent Garden and Soho are both within easy reach, with pubs, bars, restaurants and eateries dotted around the neighbourhood for evenings out. It's a good pick for guests who want to be close to London's theatre and shopping district without staying somewhere too hectic.

Stayed at The Fielding Hotel in early July 2026 and really enjoyed my time there - the location was absolutely fab. I got the bus from Euston on arrival, but it’s such a short distance I could have walked it instead. I picked this spot so I wouldn’t need public transport while away, and it delivered exactly that: everywhere I wanted to visit was just a 5 to 15 minute walk away, making getting around London so simple. You can easily stay tube‑free here, though there are around 8 tube stations within walking distance if you do need them! The staff and manager were all friendly, and it’s really useful having a 24/7 reception desk. Great location all round - would definitely recommend.

One of the best experience i ever had. Fantastic location, decent prices, friendly and capable staff, lovely rooms. I was greeted by a young receptionist, very fast check in. He guided me to the room, making sure i have everything i need. On my check in he also mentioned me a few places to visit around the area. On my stay, i also meet the manager of the hotel. A genuinely lovely guy. Humble, respectful, friendly, and very careful with his guests. I am still speechless in regards to my experience. It exceeded all my expectations. It almost felt like home. Well done to the management team and to all the members of staff.

Perfect location for the Savoy theatre & Covent Garden. The hotel is quite small, but it had everything we needed. The room was clean & tidy. Lovely comfortable beds. The staff were very helpful & very accommodating. They do not have a lift so anyone with mobility issues could have a problem with the stairs. Would definitely use again though.

Definitely not a 4* hotel - fittings and fixtures are disappointingly cheap and tired; this is not good value for money and I’ve stayed in much nicer hotels for the same money or less, very nearby, so read people’s reviews carefully before you commit! No lift and no food provision, doors that don’t appear securely locked from inside the room (with no chain). As a solo traveller and having interacted with the manager I didn’t feel safe. I would rate this a 2/3* in line with similar hotels around Kings Cross and Euston.
