About Ham Yard Hotel
Step into a room at Ham Yard Hotel and you'll find generous space and a considered, colourful decor rather than the cookie-cutter feel of many central London hotels. Across the 91 rooms, expect comfortable beds, air conditioning and in-room drinks, with the sense that each has been put together with care rather than churned out to a template.
Downstairs, the hotel opens up into a genuine set of facilities: a restaurant and bar serving food worth lingering over, including a well-regarded afternoon tea, plus a gym, spa and sauna, an indoor swimming pool and a garden that offers a rare bit of green space this close to Soho. There's also a bowling alley on site, an unusual extra for a hotel of this kind, and staff on hand through concierge and porter services to sort out anything from luggage to bookings. Free on-site parking is available too, a genuine rarity in this part of London.
Set at 1 Ham Yard, the hotel puts guests within easy reach of Soho's restaurants, pubs and nightlife, with strong transport links nearby making it straightforward to explore further afield. It suits those who want a calm, well-appointed base with plenty going on inside, right in the middle of one of London's busiest neighbourhoods.
What guests say
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our second stay at the Ham Yard Hotel was just as exceptional as our first. From the warm welcome at reception to the outstanding service throughout our stay, every member of staff made us feel genuinely valued. We were kindly upgraded to a beautiful Junior Suite, which was spacious, luxurious and incredibly comfortable. The attention to detail throughout the hotel is second to none. The location is perfect, the food and drinks were excellent, with great vegan and vegetarian options, and the team even went above and beyond to help our friends when their flights were delayed. A truly beautiful hotel with exceptional customer service. We can’t wait to return for our third visit. Highly recommended!

Stayed here last week for two nights to celebrate my biggish birthday. The hotel is fabulous. This was our first visit and we couldn’t fault it. The staff were wonderful, especially the door and reception staff who were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Special shout out to Lisa who was exceptional. We will return!

We did not stay at the hotel, but we had a very good experience with the staff at the restaurant. I had called to see if we could get an afternoon tea for that afternoon, on pretty short notice, and was told that they had no openings that day. But they called several other hotels for me and called me back to tell me which ones DID have openings that afternoon, which led to us having a very enjoyable experience at a different hotel. This was very helpful, and we really appreciate the effort they went to!

Nipped in pre theatre for a glass of wine, great service and quality wine. Decided to book a table post theatre for meal. You get what you pay for and as such the food was exceptionally well cooked and the waiting staff (in particular Alex) couldn't have been more helpful. Will definitely visit again
