About Hilton London Hyde Park

Bayswater sits right on the edge of Kensington Gardens, within reach of Notting Hill's shops and Hyde Park's open green space, and it's here that Hilton London Hyde Park makes its home on Bayswater Road, directly across from the park. A Tube station next door means the rest of London, from its markets to its museums, is within easy striking distance.

The hotel has 136 rooms, including family and accessible options, all with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning and room service. There's a restaurant on site along with a bar, and breakfast comes with a good range of choices. Practical extras include a lift, laundry service, luggage storage, meeting rooms and concierge assistance, and pets are welcome. Parking isn't available, so plan on arriving by public transport or on foot.

Staff are generally attentive and the rooms are kept clean, though service quality has been known to vary. Nearby you'll find pubs, restaurants and eateries, plus walking and cycling routes through the park, and horse riding is also within reach for something different.

The hotel is conveniently located to the Queensway station, was easy to get where I needed to go. I was here for work and had to travel all over the city so that was a plus. Hyde Park across the street was a welcome retreat after the end of a long day. The staff at the hotel and the restaurant were so kind and considerate but Talat at the front desk was exceptional! He always had a smile and took care of my request to the upmost, including delivering my luggage to my room at check in so I could unwind from a long travel day with a nice adult beverage! Plenty of restos in the area of all types but Aubaine was very nice as well!

We had a rough check in experience due to our travel company that booked the room somehow forgot to pay Hilton. It took over 90 minutes to straighten out (Not Hilton' fault) Room we were originally assigned to had a maintenance issue, we asked for a different room and the only other of the same room category smelled like stale marinara sauce. The only other option was a room that they would add a roll away temporary bed in(aka a cot). We stayed with the original room. The night manager on duty Sehrish did everything in her power to be helpful. We were very frustrated and she was very kind and professional. She gave me another Manager's information who was able to address additional concerns. I spoke with Giuseppe multiple times both in person and by email. He was a great communicator and took each and every concern seriously and responded quickly and professionally. I feel the booking information on the Deluxe Family Suite should include that it is basically underground and has no natural light. I have now read multiple other reviews that show this as well. Also even though there is a Lift or elevator to the lower level you will still need to carry bags up some stairs I believe 4 or 5 and there are a few steps after you enter your room. Important to know if you have mobility issues, luckily we do not. Service in room for replacing towels and toilet paper we had to call for them but they did come quickly. Trash was not emptied. This is not a bid deal for me , but might be for others.

We could not be happier with our stay at Hilton Hyde Park. It’s a great location, right next to the Queensway Tube station, and views of the park. Great staff, especially Talat who was very helpful and made sure we were all settled and happy with our rooms. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Would definitely come back!

I had a wonderful stay at Hilton Hyde Park. The person I want to thank most is Talat. If I ever choose Hilton Hyde Park again, he will be the main reason. From start to finish, Talat was incredibly welcoming and thoughtful in arranging the best possible room for our stay. He told me: "I'll help you keep an eye on it – I'll be here tomorrow," and "No matter whether a room becomes available or not, I will send you an update by email." That kind of follow-through is rare. Every time he greeted us, his warmth and positive energy were truly uplifting – like sunshine in Hyde Park. I'd also like to thank Isabelle at the front desk and Yann in the restaurant. Everyone contributed to making my summer trip to London unforgettable. Thank you all – hope to see you again!
