About Holiday Inn London Brentford Lock
Some rooms at Holiday Inn London Brentford Lock look straight out over the canal, a small but genuine perk in a hotel otherwise built for practical stopovers near Chiswick and Heathrow Airport. Spread across six floors, the 134 rooms are described as spacious, clean and comfortable, with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning and family and accessible options available. Lifts serve all floors, though these have occasionally been reported out of action, worth bearing in mind if stairs are a problem.
The on-site restaurant and bar cover breakfast, snacks and evening meals, with kids' meals and packed lunches available, plus room service and drinks brought straight to the door for those who'd rather not leave their room. A gym, games room, business services and meeting rooms round out the facilities, and staff are consistently mentioned as friendly and helpful. Laundry service and luggage storage add further convenience for longer or business stays.
Outdoor seating makes the most of the waterside setting at Brentford Lock, and further pubs, bars and restaurants sit nearby for those wanting to explore beyond the hotel. On-site parking is available for a charge, useful given the proximity to Heathrow and the wider west London road network.

I am my friend recently visited holiday Inn for afternoon tea and unfortunately it was a very very disappointing experience. Within minutes of arriving our sandwiches and tea will brought out. Straightaway I noticed the sandwiches look dry and clearly not fresh. When we took the sandwiches out and put them on the plate they were like toasties and not sandwiches. They had been left out probably overnight and they were leftovers from the day before and we're very dry. The victoria sponge cake on the stand also appeared as though it had come straight out of a box and was equally dry massive sizes. We raised this with a staff member who said she would check with the kitchen. After some delay, a supervisor came over he was very polite and apologetic and he said he'll bring fresh sandwiches out to us. However the issue continued. The scones we were served or extremely hard and dry they were so tough it felt like a rock when placed onto the plate. We then complaint again they were taken away and returned simply reheated, not freshly prepared within minutes. By this point, we had completely lost our appetite. We had only eaten one sandwich each and felt very put off by both the quality of the food and the overall experience and service. We repeatedly asked to speak with the manager but no one came to address our concerns directly. At 1 point, someone pointed out who the manager was and we saw him going in the direction of the kitchen. Who later came out of the kitchen and in a loud voice (despite us being the only customers) "no worries chef I trust you", while looking in our direction. This felt dismissive and very unprofessional. I'm sure they will try and reply here and make up several excuses and say the compensated us with clean fresh food which will be untrue and I will be unable to answer that again. Overall come out this was the worst afternoon experience I and my friend had we've had many wonderful experiences. Based on this visit, I would never recommend this place.

Not excepting much by a holiday inn but it’s managed by IHG so you’d expect it to be a step up from a premier inn or travelodge especially with the waterfront location etc. instead it’s one of the dirtiest hotels I’ve ever been to. The British obsession with carpet leaves every European wondering what is wrong with you? Carpet stains badly and it’s more difficult to clean… the result? Looks horrible. If you have to have carpet at least make sure you clean it! Look at the photos, it’s absolutely unacceptable. The rooms was on but the hairdryer was broken and the corridor just smelt bad. Disappointing

Close to the airport, but not much else close by. Rooms are nice but don't have a fridge and no electric outlets close to the beds so you can have your phone charging close by, you have to leave it on a desk. A/C goes on and off and at times gets a little bit hot. Bathrooms are nice.

Lovely overnight stay, our room was spotlessly clean, the bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. We had breakfast the next morning which was a big plus, full continental and eat as much as you like, which we didn’t as I had a long drive home, but it was good. Iv got to mention that as we left our room a lovely cleaning lady was in a room a few doors down noticed we were carrying our bags and asked if we were leaving and did we mind if she cleaned the room, yeah carry on we’re going. So we put our bags in the car, checked out and went and had breakfast, about 50 mins later I realised I’d misplaced my phone, I ran to the car checked everywhere but nothing so I went up in the lift and as I got out on the 3rd floor the cleaning lady was standing there and the first thing she said was “your phone” she had already placed it into an envelope with the room number and my name on it…… She could have so easily pocketed it…. So a big PLUS for honest staff……
