About Hotel Xenia Autograph Collection by Marriott
Kensington is one of London's most museum-rich neighbourhoods, and Hotel Xenia Autograph Collection by Marriott sits among it on Cromwell Road, giving guests an easy walk to the area's cultural landmarks and eateries. The hotel takes a boutique approach across its five floors and 99 rooms, each en-suite and air conditioned, with city views from some rooms and touches like in-room drinks and room service for those who prefer not to venture out.
Breakfast is a particular strength, with fresh pastries and Italian dishes served alongside the usual spread, and the restaurant and bar cater for meals and drinks throughout the day, with a snack bar and outdoor seating in the garden as further options. Staff are attentive and known for making guests feel genuinely looked after, whether at check-in, through concierge and porter services, or via room service and laundry. There's also a games room, meeting rooms for business travellers, and the hotel hosts weddings.
Guests can make use of a nearby luxury gym with a pool and sauna, adding to the hotel's own indoor swimming pool and facilities. There's no parking on site, so those arriving by car should plan accordingly, but the Cromwell Road location keeps museums, restaurants, and bars all within easy reach on foot.
What guests say
Stayed here with my sister in one of the twin rooms and had an excellent time. The location is unbeatable. By far our favorite neighborhood in the city, way more quiet and residential than central London which was a little too busy for us. You can easily walk to so many great restaurants, gardens, the underground etc. As two women traveling alone, we felt so safe even at night walking around the area. The hotel itself is really nice, the rooms are tight but not bad at all for the city. We ate at the restaurant on site one night and the dinner was delicious! We loved our stay so much we recommended our parents stay there as well on their recent trip to London. Highly recommend!

My husband and I stayed here for two weeks while on our honeymoon. It was a wonderful stay! The rooms were a bit small, which we were aware of but be mindful when booking. We still had plenty of space for two people with 3 suitcases and two weeks of clothes + all of our souvenirs. Also has AC (not always common in the UK) which was a must for us and came in handy since there was a heatwave! The location was perfect and a short walk to the tube station. The food at the restaurant was also amazing and we had multiple breakfasts, afternoon tea, and room service, all were tasty! The service is really what stands out. The staff was absolutely wonderful, kind, and helpful! They were accommodating when we asked for some extra water in the room, making sure we were stocked daily with fresh water. They took multiple opportunities to make us feel special about our honeymoon, with some extra strawberries during tea, and some balloons in our room. I’ve never felt so welcomed by hotel staff before. The only thing I wished we had was the evening turndown service mentioned on the website, we unfortunately didn’t experience this, but not a big deal.

The staff were incredibly friendly and forthcoming, providing absolutely 5-star service. It started at the entrance with Lit and Marta at reception then took perfect care of us. Thank you so much! We’ll definitely be returning. The rooms aren’t the biggest but they make up for it with fantastic service.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Xenia. This was our family’s first visit to London and the welcoming staff, beautifully appointed lobby, restaurant and bar were top notch! Our room was quiet and comfortable (small, but cozy) and the service in every aspect was impeccable. We especially want to mention Khaled, who flawlessly accommodated us during our stay. His professionalism, along with all other staff is to be commended. In particular, breakfast was a real treat and Alejandro deserves special mention…we ate more pastries than planned, due to his description of each beautiful, homemade offering. The cappuccinos were the best! Thank you to everyone that made our visit a truly memorable one.
