About hub by Premier Inn London Clerkenwell
Under-bed storage might sound like a small thing, but it's the kind of practical touch that sums up hub by Premier Inn London Clerkenwell, a 156-room hotel on Farringdon Road built for guests who need clever use of space rather than sprawling suites. The rooms are on the compact side, but they're fitted with air conditioning, en-suite bathrooms, drinks and free WiFi, and kept clean and functional throughout the hotel's five floors.
There's a restaurant and bar on site, along with a breakfast service that guests single out as a highlight, and the staff are consistently described as friendly and helpful. An electric vehicle charge point is available, and while the hotel itself has no parking, chargeable parking can be found nearby at NCP London Saffron Hill, about seven minutes on foot.
The location near Farringdon Station makes onward travel around London straightforward, and Clerkenwell's pubs, bars and restaurants are close at hand for evenings out. It's a hotel built around value and practicality rather than space, and it delivers reliably on both.
What guests say
We booked 4 rooms for family to attend a UAL graduation and everything was perfect about Hub Clerkenwell--the location, the price, the cleanliness, room comfort, the breakfast and MOST importantly the Service was Top Knotch! I could find no fault and every team member seems to have been chosen based on the winning combination of competency and personality! I sadly did not get all of the names but did get Dora's and have to higlight her for her impeccable hospitality and kindness! Will definitely stay at Hub again and looking forwrad to trying more locations to see how they compare!

Lovely hotel, really good value for money. All staff were kind and accommodating and all areas of the hotel were clean. The rooms were a good enough size and were comfortable. Bathroom didn’t feel very discreet but already aware from advertisement on premier inn website. King’s Cross station about a 20 mins walk or 10 mins with the bus that stops about 2 mins walk from the hotel. Mostly used bus for transport as nearest tube station about 15 mins walk away, but didn’t mind this at all. Walked to Oxford street one day which took about 30 mins, we got really lucky as there was a lot of traffic so was better off walking rather than taking the bus. Didn’t go for the breakfast as me and my partner don’t really opt for it but seemed nice from what we saw on the morning.

I knew the hub rooms were small, air conditioned and had the comfortable bed Premier Inn pride themselves on. The standard of the room was imaculate. There is a false window but plenty of space for one, possibly a bit tight for two unless very close relations! I checked the fire escapes, as I was taught to do by a hospital Fire Officer, the stairs are each end of the corridor. Staff were on the ball, especially manageress Gemma. Breakfast good. Dinner had Pizza or curry, not suited to me taste, but there are plenty of places to eat nearby.

We arrived early but they were able to store our bags free of charge and provided us with water bottles (also free of charge), giving us the freedom to explore the city for a couple of hours before check-in. The hotel is very nice on the inside, with an atmospheric lounge, clean breakfast area, and bar (the drink deals were solid). The rooms were small, but had everything we needed, were comfortable, and clean. We dealt with a staff member frequently whose name was Jemma. Her service was outstanding and she made our stay a pleasure! The hotel was also in close range to several cafes and pubs, making the location a very convenient base. Overall, if I return to London in the future, I would definitely come back to this hotel.
