About Karma Sanctum Soho

A hot tub on the roof terrace sets Karma Sanctum Soho apart from the usual Soho boutique hotel, giving guests somewhere to unwind above the streets of central London. The property has 30 rooms decked out in rock-inspired decor, full of character and personality, though some are on the compact side given the central location.

Downstairs there's a restaurant and bar serving food worth lingering over, including a Japanese take on afternoon tea, alongside breakfast each morning. Rooms come with air conditioning and free WiFi, and the hotel offers porter services and a lift, with staff noted for being accommodating and happy to help with requests. Pets are welcome too.

Set on Warwick Street, the hotel puts guests within easy reach of Soho's pubs, restaurants and entertainment, with transport links nearby for exploring further afield. The rooftop bar remains the standout feature, a spot for a drink in the hot tub after a day in the city.

Loved this place. The staff are all incredible, and will bend over backwards to help. We had a couple of problems with our room during our stay, and nothing was too much trouble for them. They were great, really. The room itself was a small/compact double, and it was a good size for a few nights. Think a good sized bedroom, and we had room under our bed for suitcases. The hotel decor is fantastic, very rock vibes, and the only loo I've been in with a working piano next to the urinals. Rooftop bar is perfect for an afternoon or late night chill. We didn't use the communal hot tub as the weather was a bit too warm, but it's a great thing to have. Breakfast at the restaurant was good. I'd recommend the continental meat and cheese plate, which comes with toast and jam. All in all, we had a lovely time for our honeymoon, a funky/punky boutique hotel right near the centre of EVERYTHING in Soho, made all the better by the great team of people who work there. We will be back.

My partner and I recently stayed at Karma Sanctum Soho Hotel to celebrate our 18th anniversary, and I cannot thank the team enough for making it such a special and unforgettable experience. Before we even arrived, Fay was absolutely outstanding. I had quite a few questions and special requests because I wanted to surprise my partner, and she went above and beyond to help me plan everything. Through emails and phone calls, she patiently answered every question, suggested wonderful ideas, and helped create the perfect surprise. When we arrived, she welcomed us so warmly and made us feel genuinely valued. Her kindness, professionalism, and enthusiasm made all the difference. We also had the pleasure of being looked after by Aisha during our Japanese afternoon tea. The service was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and efficient. The food was simply incredible. The gyoza, aubergine, scones, panna cotta... every single bite was delicious. Honestly, in just one afternoon I enjoyed some of the best food I've tasted in over 50 years! The hotel itself is beautiful. The rooftop jacuzzi is fantastic, the facilities are spotless, and everything is peaceful and well maintained. The room was immaculate, beautifully scented, and equipped with thoughtful touches such as bathrobes and slippers for going up to the rooftop, they put red rose petals on our bed!!!!!. Every area of the hotel reflected the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. The location couldn't be better. Within a short walk we enjoyed a comedy club, theatres, shops, restaurants, and everything Soho has to offer. Thank you so much, Karma Sanctum Soho Hotel. A special thank you to Fay and Aisha for your exceptional customer service. You didn't just make our stay enjoyable—you made our 18th anniversary truly unforgettable. We will definitely be back!

Had a deliciius Japanese afternoon tea here. The waitress was wonderful and the chef made my son a lactose free one which he was delighted about, especially the ice cream mochi. Thanks so much. We had a lovely time celebrating our birthdays.

I review many hotels across London and the UK. This is the only hotel I have EVER booked that takes a prepayment deposit of 150 pounds and does not release it immediately after you have left. After 3 weeks i ended up contacting the hotel multiple times, the bank twice, and Action Fraud in order to ensure that my money was finally returned. This is unacceptable! On that basis alone this hotel is rated at 1 star and I strongly advise you to avoid booking here. The hotel itself was quite funky, with some cool art (notably a Mr Brainwash in the reception !) . The decor had a feeling of 1980's nightclub with dark walls that probably hid some of the detail on the finish and cleanliness. The restaurant was also closed. The room itself was very small, and was in need of some TLC. There was a small window, but only a view of the adjoining buildings and Aircon units. The bathroom is tiny and the sink was located inside the shower which is simply weird. The only redeeming feature was the rooftop hot tub, which was clean, warm and functional. I am stunned at the rating of this hotel and the prices of the rooms. On that basis alone I would not come back and won't be booking again.
