About Kensington Stay
Earl's Court and South Kensington sit within easy reach of Philbeach Gardens, the quiet residential street where Kensington Stay is based. It's a practical option for anyone wanting to be close to the museums, shops and transport links of west London without paying for a more central address.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning and drinks in the room, along with the basics travellers tend to need on a short stay. The hotel runs a 24 hour reception and offers room service and a laundry service, plus a lift, free WiFi and luggage storage for those arriving early or leaving late. There's also a kitchen on site. Feedback on the property has been mixed, so it suits those after a straightforward, no-frills base rather than a polished stay.
Pubs, restaurants and other eateries are all nearby, so there's no shortage of options for food and drink within walking distance. Note that there's no parking available at the property, so it's best suited to guests arriving by train, tube or on foot.

Value for money was incredible. I cancelled a capsule in central london when this place became available for a similar price. Yes, the room was tiny, but it was just me for an overnighter in London. The bed was comfortable, the pillows and linen were crisp. The tiny kitchenette (which I didn’t use) was well thought out and there was even a small folding desk from the wall I one needed to do some work. The bathroom was modern and fully functional. Simply put, for £60 in London on a Saturday night you couldn’t fault it. I stayed on the 3rd floor in room 18. The tile grout in the shower needs cleaning up. It’s not as much dirty but has blackened over time. The noise from the road is a big concern but I knew this and brought some decent earplugs and eyemask which sorted the problem out. The positives of this property far outweigh the negatives for the price.

Could not have been happier, compared to our usual Earls Court accommodation cheaper and far superior. Everything was easy and support was instant when needed. The room and the building have been done to a surprisingly high standard. The room was comfortable, with a superb bathroom and had absolutely everything we needed. So far above the level I expected for the price. Would stay here again without hesitation. Worth noting there is a back entrance to Earls Court tube station which is directly opposite the hotel entrance.

Room was filthy - hairs & stains in the bed & bathroom. Kitchen had food on the cupoboard, plates were dirty, leftover lasagne in freezer & no forks to eat with. The stairs as you come up are quite battered, the different patches of paint, like theyve tried something different & just left it. Its very loud too, even with good earplugs - from around 5am.

Want a cheap and cheerful stay in London it's probably up there, room was tidy but tiny, right opposite the tube though and was fairly quiet. 1 star for service as there's no one on site.
