About Novotel London Bridge

Southwark Bridge Road sits within easy walking distance of the river, Borough Market and the streets around London Bridge, and it's here that Novotel London Bridge makes its base. The area mixes market stalls, riverside paths and city energy, making it a practical spot for exploring this stretch of London on foot.

The hotel has 182 rooms across six floors, including family and accessible options, all with en-suite bathrooms and air conditioning, though some guests have found the cooling system doesn't always keep up in warmer weather. Facilities cover a restaurant, bar and snack bar, a gym and spa with sauna, plus meeting rooms and business services for those combining work with a stay. Breakfast draws particular praise, with a wide selection that includes vegan and gluten-free choices, and the staff are consistently noted as helpful.

There's no on-site parking, so this suits visitors arriving by train or tube rather than car. Pets are welcome, and with Borough Market and the restaurants and pubs nearby, guests have plenty to explore without needing to travel far from Southwark Bridge Road.

We had a fantastic stay at Novotel London Bridge. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and nothing ever seemed like too much trouble. They were happy to let us check in early when our room was ready, which was a great start to our trip, and they also looked after our luggage on our last day so we could enjoy London without having to carry our bags around. The beds were really comfortable, giving us a great night’s sleep after long days exploring the city. Breakfast was excellent, with a good variety of fresh options, and the coffee was particularly good. Overall, a brilliant hotel with excellent service in a great location. We’d happily stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting London.

Lovely hotel, bonus having a restaurant and bar onsite. Great service, room was ready even though we arrived early. The only little niggle there is no ceiling light as you enter the bedroom which made that area dark, thats where the wardrobe and mirror were so quite difficult. Great location, 5 minutes walk to the Southbank. Our 2nd visit and we will return.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Novotel for four weeks, and one of the biggest highlights of our stay was Magda. Magda has the biggest heart and went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable, welcoming, and enjoyable as possible. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and she was always there to help in any way she could. She even organised a thoughtful little gift and balloons for my mum’s birthday, which made the day so special and is something we’ll never forget. Every morning we were greeted with the brightest smile and a friendly wave, which always started our day on a positive note. Her kindness, warmth, and genuine care made us feel so at home throughout our entire stay. We would absolutely recommend the Novotel to anyone looking for a wonderful place to stay, but even more so, we highly recommend meeting Magda. If you ever need anything during your stay, she’s the person to go to. She is truly an incredible asset to the Novotel, and we can’t thank her enough for everything she did for us.

Great location with easy access to major landmarks. Borough Market is a short walk with some excellent food options. Good breakfast places close by if you decide not to buy the breakfast each day. We had a slight issue with our booking when we arrived but the lovely front desk person sorted it out, she was very nice and efficient. The downstairs lobby area is really nice, great restaurant option for snacks, drinks or late night dessert! The room layout is a bit weird with an open plan bathroom style. Privacy is a bit hard when you don’t have a separate bathroom - I was travelling with my husband and teenage son so privacy for everyone was challenging. Comfy beds and pillows - not to soft! Overall, a great stay.
