About Pacific Hotel

Sussex Gardens sits within easy reach of London Paddington, a useful pocket of the capital lined with terraced townhouses converted into small hotels, and it's here that the Pacific Hotel operates as a straightforward, no-frills base for visitors who want to be near the station without paying central London prices.

The hotel has 32 rooms, kept plain and functional rather than stylish, each with free Wi-Fi included. A full English breakfast is served each morning, and there's a restaurant and bar on site for guests who'd rather not venture out in the evening. Beyond the basics, the property also has a gym, a spa and sauna, an indoor swimming pool, a garden, meeting rooms and a lift, and it's licensed as a wedding venue for those planning a small function. There's no parking available, so anyone driving will need to make alternative arrangements nearby.

Restaurants, pubs and entertainment venues are all within easy walking distance, and the location near Paddington makes onward travel across London straightforward. It's a practical rather than polished choice, best suited to guests who prioritise a convenient address and a proper cooked breakfast over designer surroundings.

Superb location just a stones throw away from Paddington train and tube station. I stayed here on a business trip and the hotel was superb value, very cheap for its location. The hotel itself however is extremely dated. The room I stayed in had single glazing and the sash window rattled all night. The sound of the heavy traffic was persistent which resulted in me getting next to no sleep. There is good breakfast options here which was included in the price for me. Wasn’t to happy with how safe the luggage was as there didn’t seem to be a luggage store and was therefore left at reception.

Was an ideal place for us to stay. No good for disabled they do not have a lift. Pleasant polite helpful staff. Tea coffee kettle provided if you ask. Good basic cooked breakfast. No being redecorated. Our room was good looking out the front with a wardrobe and 2 sets of big bedside drawers

The room have not any complimentary toiletries just some used hand soap with pubic hairs and today they didn’t want me to give me any more breakfast and asked me for paying more if I want more. Anyway the breakfast is really poor, bad quality and I just eat 1 egg or 2 a day plus some coffee so the service is super bad. This is not what I payed for. They don’t even have water that can be consumed by humans on the breakfast. Using tap water under request on the breakfast with a strong bad flavour because the water system is not clean and need to be cleaned for serving water to the clients if they don’t buy water for giving to the clients. Also curtains and the toilet mirror are dirty. Not the best if you like a clean place and a healty stomach.

The location was near paddington station, the check in was easy and quick. Including continental Breakfast was good. The beds were uncomfortable but not the worst. The size of the room as ample. The bathroom functioned well. No complaints and the price was good.
