Star Hotel

Me and my son stayed in Star hotel for 4 nights this February. We loved it!! The victorian building is lovely and the location is perfect. We stayed on the 1st floor facing the street which I loved. Thank to double glazing there was no noise from the street at all. The room was warm, comfortable and very practically and nicely furnished. It had everything we needed with comfortable beds and a beautiful new bathroom. Very clean. I loved that the small shower gels, bags of coffee and cream we used, were replaced every day. The area is lovely with shops and restaurants, and the distance from Hammersmith tube station, bus station and Eventim Apollo is a very short walk. 5-10 minutes, but bus 72 drops you off exactly in front of the hotel if you want. The staff are wonderful, very helpful, kind and friendly. I would definitely stay there again any time.

The room was very clean and everything worked well. With the heatwave there was an additional ventilator in our room. No noise from the others room. Staff was very friendly. My friends and I were in the city for the BTS concert and there were a lot of underground options close by. Which was perfect for us. Would definitely recommend and come back.

I've stayed at this hotel several times for work in 2026 and can recommend it fully. The staff are super friendly, helpful and welcoming, the rooms are always clean (cleaned daily and the hotel always smell so fresh!) and comfortable. The location is v handy for both Hammersmith, Westfield and several tube lines. To top it off the winter offer is fantastic value and I've been v grateful to find such a lovely, affordable weekly stopover for my needs. Thank you team 🙏 Thoroughly recommended!

I had such a genuinely lovely stay at Star Hotel that I felt it absolutely deserves a full 5-star review. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome. Every interaction was warm, friendly, and helpful. they really go above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable. It’s clear they take pride in what they do, and that kind of service makes all the difference when you’re away from home. The location is honestly unbeatable. You’re perfectly situated in Shepherd’s Bush with easy access to multiple Tube stations, which makes getting around London effortless. Whether you’re exploring central London or heading out for food or shopping, everything is right at your doorstep. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. Yes, like many London hotels, the rooms are on the compact side, but they are very well kept, thoughtfully arranged, and offer excellent value for money. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom spotless, and the overall space felt fresh and welcoming. What really stands out is the value. London can be expensive, but this hotel strikes a perfect balance between affordability, comfort, and location. You truly feel like you’re getting more than what you pay for, which is rare in such a prime area. All in all, this place is a hidden gem. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable stay with fantastic staff and a brilliant location, this is an easy recommendation. I would 100% stay here again and again, and again.
