Massive Thank you to Robbie and the team. We had our wedding here on a hot May Saturday. The team were amazing! Food was brilliant. Staff were so lovely and just made sure the day was perfect. We had family staying in the hotel and they raved about the place. Planning before the wedding was stress free and straight forward. The staff even put up some decorations for us the day of the wedding. Nothing was too much hassle. Amazing venue, amazing staff, brilliant for big events!

The customer service at this establishment really needs a significant overhaul. We have visited several times, and the same issues are always present. The communication is poor from the start, as I previously sent an email regarding a reservation enquiry and received no response for five days. When we arrived at the bar, it was incredibly quiet, yet the staff spent 30 seconds chatting amongst themselves, completely ignoring us until they finally noticed we were waiting. Unfortunately, the service did not improve once we were seated. Our food was served without any cutlery or napkins, forcing us to go and get them ourselves. We also ordered chips, but no sauces were provided, nor were we asked if we wanted any, so I had to retrieve those myself as well. This seems to be a trend, as previously when asking for a steak to be cooked a certain way, it never arrives as requested. To add to the disappointment, the main outside TV was not working, and we were told it is only used for England games. Most concerning of all was a major health and safety hazard. It was a 30-degree day, yet the mayonnaise was left sitting out on a table in the blazing sun the entire day for anyone to access. This is incredibly dangerous, and I will be reporting it to the relevant authorities, as you simply cannot risk harming customers with poorly stored food. It is a real shame because this is the only nice-looking place in the local area. However, the customer service here is a minus ten. For now, we will have to look elsewhere, but we truly hope it improves one day so we can continue to visit and recommend it to others.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere feeling in the pub. Usually when I go to a pub, I eat my meal quickly or have one drink and leave whtin about half hour regardless if I'm with someone, talking to someone or alone. Today when I went here though, I wasn't with anyone or talking to any customers, just alone drinking and eating but I felt so relaxed I bought 5 drinks (only one alcoholic), had dinner in here and stayed for exactly 4 hours.
