The Chesterfield Mayfair

My husband and I stayed at The Chesterfield Mayfair in London in 2024 for his birthday, and it ended up being the most memorable part of our entire trip. From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, attentive, and consistently courteous, making us feel genuinely welcomed throughout our stay. The service was exceptional in every interaction. The food was phenomenal, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. One of the highlights of our visit was the afternoon tea experience, where we were treated to a wonderful selection of teas paired with an assortment of delicate pastries. It was elegant, relaxing, and truly special. I’ve already recommended this hotel to all my friends, and I would absolutely stay here again on my next visit to London.

If I could give six stars for the service at the Chesterfield I would! They are top notch, attentive and go out of their way to make sure your stay is awesome. The rooms are on the smaller side which you would expect in a hotel like this - read traditional as opposed to modern. Unless you stay in a suite which are luxurious. The rooms are quite comfortable, however, and the place is in a great location. Very centrally located and a short walk to some great eateries, shops and other establishments. We loved our stay.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely loved our stay at The Chesterfield Mayfair! This quaint and charming hotel completely exceeded our expectations. We had a beautiful, spacious suite, as well as two other rooms, that were perfect for our large group (including two little ones). The staff were incredibly accommodating and provided outstanding service throughout our short visit. Stanley’s rooftop bar was a real hidden gem — the ideal spot to unwind with drinks after a day in London. This is one of my favourite hotels in london im leaving a glowing review! Ive not stayed here before buy i have dined here and visit for afternoon tea. I e been coming here intermittently for over 13 years now. This hotel is for those looking for a bit of english demure. It is beautiful! The soft cushion like walls, intricate carpet, ye olde paintings and a beautiful staircase. The furniture and finishings are delightful. Ladies, the ‘powder room’ is so pretty with rose quartz sinks, and beautiful floors! For tourists- this place delivers english epitome - i believe more so than the other well known hotels. I dined here years ago and it was delicious- but the environment was so, good food great company. I came again as a new mother with my new baby and i had the best time! So when i was seeking somewhere special to treat my friend to afternoon tea i suggested The Chesterfeild as i hold such strong warm memories here. When we arrived i were welcomed like regular guests, warmly. I was so pleased nothing had changed that same demureness still there. Our afternoon tea was superb! Again i urge tourists and locals to visit The Chesterfeild for afternoon tea it is by far the one-of the BEST! and i have had afternoon tea in most of the major places in london, not all, and this is far superior than the well known ones (ive not been paid, i am a full paying normal guest) Shoutout to Jade, who took such great care of us and made my friend feel special on her birthday! She talked us through our teas and accommodated for dietary requirements, she was fabulous and id like to take Thank her wholeheartedly 🙏🏽 The food is phenomenal! Such a nostalgic journey through our favourite childhood sweeties beautifully presented. See photos! The chocolate scones were a favourite as were … ok we loved everything!!! We ate the lot ok!!! Did i mention everything is refillable! We went home with cakes for our kids, then gifted a bag of our sweeties. The whole event was a perfect! And very memorable (as expected!) Ill be returning with my two children as they too love an afternoon tea and thoroughly enjoyed the cakes i brought home! Thank you to all the staff for your kind hospitality 🙏🏽
