What guests say
I stayed at The Guardsman for an extended amount of time, and I could not have been happier with my decision to stay here after months of online research, of where the best place for me to stay in London would be. The location is ideal - central to all of the iconic and historical places that London is revered for. The hotel is extremely welcoming and stylish with a bespoke feel. There are many places to sit and relax after a day of walking - the library is a nice quiet and cozy spot! My room was my sanctuary, furnished beautifully and it was very comfortable with everything I needed for a long stay. The bed and pillows were a dream, you could easily just stay in bed for a day if you so wished! The most memorable thing about this hotel is the staff. From the moment you walk in you are greeted by smiling, happy faces that are always ensuring you have everything you need and want, and if they can help with anything. The dining room team, are just lovely to see and chat with in the morning. It was always such an enjoyable way to start my day. Housekeeping are spot on with everything! They do an amazing job. Thankyou to Thomas, Daniel, Beyoncé, Sruthi, Alina and all of the staff whose names I didn’t get, for such an enjoyable stay. If you enjoy a personal experience, then The Guardsman is exactly what you are looking for.

My husband and I stopped by the hotel bar for a drink on Friday night before going back to the room, the atmosphere was very quiet and Melody made the evening just delightful. we ordered Rose wine and she brought us some complimentary nachos, which surprisingly went very nicely with the wine. She even came by and topped them up for us. When it was time to signed for the bill, she reached into her little pocket and pulled out some sweets for us. It was such a cute and thoughtful gesture that made us both smile. Melody is a very sweet young lady and made our evening feel extra special.

Beautiful boutique hotel very central in London. Close to transportation and the gorgeous parks. It feels like coming back home with great service and cozy feeling. Room slightly on small side but beautiful design and provide all you need. No gym or other guest services but instead I go for a good long walk in the beautiful area every morning. Thank you Julia for making sure I don’t forget anything in the room and for kind service. ❤️

This is a lovely hotel in a great central location. Great for transport links for sightseeing or business. The staff are friendly and professional. The room was immaculate and well designed for a compact room, that still felt luxurious. The bed was great and the room was quiet. There was even a small welcome gift in the room on arrival, it's a great touch. If you prefer a boutique style hotel, rather than a large chain hotel, this is the one for you! We stayed for leisure, but I think this hotel would also work for a business trip.
