About The Paramount Hotel
For travellers who want an affordable base near the Tube rather than a polished city retreat, The Paramount Hotel on Nevern Square offers straightforward central London accommodation within reach of Earl's Court and Kensington. It's an adults-only property, which suits couples and solo visitors after a quiet, no-fuss stay rather than families.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, drinks available on request, and beds that guests tend to find comfortable. Staff are on hand around the clock at the 24 hour reception, and free WiFi is included throughout. It's worth noting that some rooms have been reported as poorly kept, with a lingering smell in places, so this is a budget stay rather than a luxury one, and the price reflects that.
There's a garden and outdoor seating area for guests who want a bit of air away from the street, and the hotel's location puts pubs, bars, restaurants and other eateries within easy walking distance, along with nearby entertainment options. With the tube station close by, it's a practical spot for getting around the city on a budget.

Absolutely avoid this hotel. This was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. When we arrived, the room was in an appalling condition. It was extremely dirty, and it was obvious that it had not been cleaned properly. The bathroom had not been cleaned, the beds were dirty, the floor inside the room was cracked, there were signs of damp and the overall hygiene was completely unacceptable. The carpet throughout the hotel was torn, heavily worn and filthy, and there were several broken items in the room. Nothing looked like the photos advertised online. To make matters even worse, shortly after arriving we saw two people who appeared to be under the influence of drugs entering the building and going upstairs towards the guest rooms. This made us feel extremely unsafe. The combination of the shocking cleanliness, the poor condition of the property and the safety concerns meant we did not feel comfortable staying there. We had no choice but to leave immediately and book another hotel at the last minute, which cost us significantly more. I have never left a hotel review like this before, but I genuinely feel other travellers should be warned. This property does not meet even the most basic standards of cleanliness or maintenance, and our experience was extremely disappointing.

Booking.com had rated this hotel as a 3 star, however this is a 2-star hotel and honestly for what level we received it should be a 1 star. We arrived and was told that we would have to wait for check inn, while we understood that we would have to wait for check inn, we was told we could leave our bags in what said online "secure" area, that said "secure" area was a clothing cupboard in the main walk away with no form of lock or any security measures and was told to use at our own risks, This was laughable as we was told we could drop and not worry about our bags and quite frankly saw this completely dodgy and therefore sat with our suitcases and bags till check in. This was the first red flag. For the price we paid and for the level of stars this hotel was, we weren’t expecting anything spectacular, however we expected a room that was clean, safe and comfortable. We got none of this, the rooms especially the bathroom was infested with Mold on the celling and Mold growing on the shower including rust as well. We asked to change rooms as we believed having Mold in the bathroom is a health hazard, we got into our second room and behold more Mold in the second room bathroom AGAIN. When we had said that the second room had Mold, the receptionist told us they had been busy and not had time to clean the rooms, clearly not understanding that Mold does not appear overnight and you can’t "clean" Mold, it needs to be treated and removed. At this point we asked for a partial or full refund as my partner has asthma and cannot be subjected to poor cleanliness and Mold for 4 days. The receptionist handed the phone over to us and the manager said we couldn't have a refund as they had other rooms available, and insisted there could not POSSIBLY be Mold and that the rooms are cleaned regularly, when we said we were happy to send proof, the manager asked to put the receptionist back on, clearly not engaging with us knowing we have proof. This is the part where it becomes our job to inspect rooms until we found one that did not have Mold in and was acceptable. Even then despite all the hassle, the room was small needs serous updating as there is dirt deep in the floorboards and edges of the walls and, did not have any draws or cupboard to put clothes in and there was an awful drilling noise every day we were there starting from 9am till 6pm, this also included the fact the walls are like paper and we could hear everything our neighbour was doing and saying and this was vice versa, this made me extremely uncomfortable as I felt like there was little privacy. However, the room had no Mold in the bathroom so huazzah. Again, i get its a 2-star hotel, but are customers paying to be exposed to Mold and dirt and expected to bare through it, I thought hotels need to have standards and really this one has quite low ones, Honestly for the money we paid this was overpriced for what we actually got and I pray for those who reads this PLEASE spend a little bit more money and get a clean hotel. And if you want to see proof, Here it is 😊

I couldn't make it to my reservation due too illness. Ended up paying for my whole reservation even though I didn't check in. Tried communicating them via BDC regarding a possible future stay and they didn't even bother replying to my messages. Also I stayed there before and there were wasps in the room. Ended up being Ethan Winters from Resident Evil 7 by grabbing a towel and hitting the wasps. Areas is good.
