What guests say
This is genuinely the best hotel! The staff is extremely friendly and professional! The rooms are clean, nice, and more spacious than others. The view into the street is nice. A big factor for us: They have AC! Their restrooms are nice and they have an amazing shower. Everything was always cleaned and restocked. They have a mini fridge, a microwave, and a kettle with tea. It was super easy to stock up with snacks or bring in food of choice, since they don't have a restaurant. You're in the heart of London, but it is nice and quiet. There are restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance. You're in walking distance from the British Museum, Trafalgar Square, National Gallery, and so much more. There is a bus stop right in front, if you do need to take the bus anywhere. Genuinely, a year later we still talk about this hotel and how much it added to making our first trip to Europe as wonderful as it was.

Excellent stay at The Resident Covent Garden. The location is perfect, right in the heart of London and within easy walking distance of theatres, restaurants, shops, and major attractions. Despite being so central, the hotel felt quiet, comfortable, and well managed. The room was spotless, modern, and very well designed, with everything needed for a convenient stay. The staff were extremely friendly, professional, and helpful throughout, which made the experience feel very personal. The only drawback for me was the size of the room and bathroom, which were quite compact. I also found the bathtub instead of a walk-in shower a bit inconvenient. Overall, it is a great choice for anyone looking for a comfortable, high-quality hotel in one of the best areas of London. I would definitely stay here again.

Exceptional location and service, I would reccomend them for everyone and have no regrets staying here. My only issue was witg the room. We booked a standard double room and it was tiny, there was no room to put our bags down let alone stand. That being said it was still a fantastic hotel all around!

This property is essentially a glorified dorm room rather than a true hotel. It lacks even the most basic features you would expect from a hotel: there is no real lobby (unless you consider a random group of tables and chairs a lobby), no bar, no on-site restaurant, and virtually no amenities. Even housekeeping is minimal, with no turndown service and only one bath towel provided per guest—often worn and frayed. They didn’t even take out the trash in our bathroom day over day. The rooms are small. There is a table and chairs adjacent to the bed and bathroom, making it feel as though you’re sitting in the bathroom when you’re at the end. The one advantage is the location, which is good for exploring Covent Garden. Unfortunately, the convenience of the location doesn’t make up for the lack of comfort, amenities, or value. If you’re expecting an actual hotel experience, you’ll likely be disappointed and your money is better spent elsewhere.
