About The Sanctuary House Hotel
Tothill Street sits right in the heart of Westminster, a short walk from Victoria Station and within easy reach of the area's government buildings, parks and riverside. The Sanctuary House Hotel occupies this spot with 34 rooms above a ground-floor pub, giving the whole place a proper British feel rather than the anonymous corporate look of many central London hotels.
Rooms come with free WiFi and drinks available on request, and guests have use of a lift, an on-site gym, a garden, and luggage storage for early arrivals or late departures. Breakfast is served on-site, and the pub downstairs is a draw in its own right, known for hearty dishes such as steak and ale pie and fish and chips, backed by a decent range of drinks. The atmosphere is generally warm and the staff attentive, though service at busier times can be slow.
Free on-site parking is a genuine bonus for a hotel this central. With restaurants, bars and entertainment all within walking distance, and Victoria Station close by for onward travel, it works equally well as a base for sightseeing or a stopover before heading further afield.

Thoroughly enjoyed!! I got the Cheeseburger with Monterey Jack cheese and everything on it - it was very delicious!! My company got the pie board very good, and the pims were okay not the best but other than that everyone also enjoy. Thank you

Wow! It was an unexpected opportunity to taste traditional British flavours. We were in the area looking for a place to lunch, and this spot will definitely be among my favourites in London when I host family and friends from abroad, so they can experience the real UK. Fish and chips + Guinness + Pub This is my favorite combination!

I love this pub. I love Fullers pubs full stop. The beer is first class. But I hate feeling ripped off. I ordered lasagna as main course and am so disappointed. The portion was tiny. The ramekin it was served in was 6 inches max. A couple of cm thick. Little meat. A bar snack. Two small pieces of garlic bread and a salad that was little more than garnish. Twenty quid. Sorry but not good enough. Happy to drink here again but will never eat here again. Very, very poor. A shame. As I say, I love this pub as a pub 😔

Absolutely love this place! Every time we’re in London, this is a must-visit. The food is always fantastic — the pies and fish and chips are an absolute go-to and never disappoint. We were seated right away, and the service was friendly, fast, and excellent. Can’t recommend it enough — we’ll definitely be back!
