About The Z Hotel City
Fleet Street sits right in the heart of the City of London, within easy reach of St Paul's Cathedral and the pubs, restaurants and bars that fill the surrounding streets. The Z Hotel City makes the most of this position, putting guests a short walk from the sights while keeping costs reasonable for such a central spot.
Rooms are compact but well thought out, with en-suite bathrooms, large televisions, powerful showers and air conditioning, though a handful of guests have reported units that don't always work as they should. Family rooms and accessible rooms are available, and each comes with free WiFi and drinks in the room. Downstairs there's a bar, a snack bar and breakfast service, along with a lift, laundry service and concierge staff on hand to help with local recommendations.
The staff are consistently described as friendly and helpful, adding a personal touch to what is otherwise a functional, no-frills base. With entertainment, pubs and restaurants all close by, it suits anyone wanting a straightforward, well-located place to sleep in central London without paying over the odds for space they won't use.

What guests say
5 stars at rate we paid. Room interior design brilliant use of downstairs windowless room. Brilliant interior designer. I also used table upstairs for online tasks. All staff were polite or gracious. Super clean and modern. Brits don't tout their brilliance but tourists need to know. Quality workmanship too.

As good as you're going to get in central London at this price point. About 10 minute walk from Farringdon which was manageable with two cases. The receptionist advised us when we arrived that they had issues with their air con, if our room had issues they would provide a fan, discounted room rate and free breakfast. With it being very hot we hoped it would be working! Luckily when we got to our room it was nice and cool, air con was working perfectly. After dropping off our bags we walked into Soho and off into London. Overall great location, clean rooms, good bathroom. We'd definitely stay here again. Haven't really got any negatives to say about it.

This hotel is perfectly located in a really nice neighborhood with nice restaurants and pubs just a short walk away. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The rooms are decent and comfortable enough for a good stay. The breakfast can be improved.

Let's call this what it is - London's equivalent to the Japanese Capsule / Pod hotel. Great option if you are in the city overnight to avoid that dreadfully long commute. The right price point and you are basically saving that round trip train fare plus a bit. Everyone has commented that the beds are a piece of plywood with a thin mattress - yes. But i was still able to sleep. Everyone has commented that it is super small - yes but check the price points and that extra five quid to move up a level is worth it. Join the club and get some extra perks The room was clean - spartan - but absolutely on point for a late night sleep with an early start the next day. The reception was friendly and super efficient! So if you miss the last train, have an early start go for it. I would not recommend this for your holiday or more than two days tops.
