About Travelodge London Central Marylebone
Regent's Park and London Zoo are both within easy reach of Travelodge London Central Marylebone, and Marylebone Station sits right next to the hotel, making it a straightforward base for exploring the capital by rail or on foot. Pubs, restaurants and other eateries are dotted around the surrounding streets, so there's no shortage of places to eat once the sightseeing is done.
The hotel has 92 rooms across six floors, all with en-suite bathrooms and drinks available in the room, plus accessible rooms for those who need them. A lift serves all floors, reception is staffed around the clock, and breakfast is available to set guests up for the day. Some rooms show their age and street or corridor noise can be noticeable, so a quiet spot is worth requesting if that matters to you.
Pets are welcome, WiFi is provided throughout, and there's an electric vehicle charge point on site, with chargeable parking available nearby at Bell Street car park, about seven minutes on foot. It's a no-frills option, but the location by Marylebone Station and the friendly staff make it a practical choice for a London stay without paying central London prices.

I just stayed one night here. I was looking for somewhere reasonable not too far from the Abbey Road studios. The single room is not large but had everything I needed for a night. I had room 606 and although it looks as if there's a balcony, you can't go out on to it. The receptionist did ask if I was ok on the 6th floor and I said yes. There are 2 lifts, but unfortunately 1 not working at present, but it hasn't been a problem for me. It is July and it is pretty hot but they did have a portable fan in the room. It was noisy at night, not from traffic, more from Aircon units? On the roof. The bed was comfortable and they just had a top sheet rather than a duvet because of the heat. But a duvet was available if you wanted one. The shower wasn't large but it was simple to use. It has a fixed shower head. You can only order a breakfast box, but there are quite a few restaurants and cafes within 20 mins walk and there is M and S food at Marylebone station and a local Tesco. There is a cafe attached to the hotel that does a variety of food. Overall a reasonably good quality for the price in such an expensive area if London. Marylebone station very close and Baker st tube within 10 mins walk, so very accessible.

Absolutely no Air-con, the hotel tried, they put a singular fan in each room, but when its 36° outside, a singular fan doesn't do anything. The hotel provided a 2nd fan when asked but again, rooms already too warm to really help much. However. The room is a comfortable double sized room, with tea and coffee making facilities, a TV, ironing board and iron. The shower room, is basic but functional. The shower tray was a little stained but does not stop usage and overall a clean comfortable room. My mistake when booking, I added breakfast, but did not realise that it was a packed box with a tub of cereal, a carton of long life milk, a small bottle of water, a flap jack and a small prepackaged chocolate croissant. All in all a budget hotel.

The staff are so welcoming and friendly, the hotel manager was present and had a good handle on the operation. The “super room” I stayed in left some super to be desired. The bed was not comfortable, the pillows were small and the sheets were kind of itchy like they had been starched too much. The curtains although they were black out did not cover the entire window, leaving a sizable gap on each end, so that made my recovery sleep from a long flight difficult. At the time I stayed one of the two elevators was not working and the other had no lights, although the manager kindly explained this is awaiting mechanics to fix at check in. The location is very desirable right next to Marylebone station and tube, and a 5 minute walk from baker street.

Terrible customer service We booked online for 2 adults and selected a single room, mistakenly believing this meant two single beds. When we arrived, the receptionist informed us that it was actually a room with just one single bed. We asked how much it would cost to upgrade, and after telling us to sit and wait, she came back and quoted £130. We were shocked, especially as we had seen online that a double room was only around £30 more. The price felt completely unreasonable. We said the upgrade was too expensive, and she simply handed us the key to the single room. As we walked towards the corridor, she suddenly shouted, “Security is coming!” We were left completely confused and embarrassed. It was only then that she explained that a single room was for one person only and that we were not both allowed upstairs. Being shouted at across reception was humiliating. We felt pressured into paying the inflated upgrade price because we had no other realistic option. The whole experience left us feeling embarrassed, poorly treated, and completely overshadowed what should have been an enjoyable stay.
