About Travelodge London Crystal Palace
Every room at Travelodge London Crystal Palace comes with an en-suite bathroom, drinks available in-room, and access via lift to floors throughout the building. Accessible rooms are available for those who need them, and some guests have noted good views from their windows. One point worth knowing is that the hotel has no air conditioning, so rooms can feel warm in mild weather.
The hotel runs a 24 hour reception, so arrival times are flexible, and breakfast is available on-site to set guests up for the day. There's no restaurant or bar in-house, but both can be found nearby for those wanting to eat out. Pets are welcome, which makes this a practical stop for guests travelling with dogs.
Free on-site parking is offered on a first-come, first-served basis at the rear of the property, with additional chargeable parking available at 158-162 High Street should the on-site spaces be full. The hotel's location gives easy access to Crystal Palace Park and the National Sports Centre, making it a convenient base for exploring that corner of London.

Great hotel with secure parking. You press a buzzer and the riller shutter doors open. Easy to get to reception. Reception staff very friendly and helpful with a lot of local knowledge. Well within reach of Anerly train station which gets you to the tube and has very frequent trains. Good local shops o Croydon road and a 24 hour garage close by. If you're lucky, ypu may even spot some city foxes on their rounds. Room was plenty big enough for me with great views if you get a rear facing room. Only downside was no cooked breakfast available but the 'on the go breakfast' was plenty and theres a couple of good cafe's close by if it's a full English you want.

Does the job but has no air-conditioning despite being a high rise hotel. This means in the summer months you are reliant on a small desk fan and a window which opens up a small couple of cm gap. It makes sleeping very difficult and once you have a shower you are immediately sweating again. The staff are helpful and the location is ok. At least they have their own car park off the street!

I’ve stayed in quite a few Travelodges, but this one has a few unique quirks worth noting if you're planning a visit. First off, the name is a bit of a stretch—it’s actually located much closer to Penge than Crystal Palace, situated right near the High Street. The layout is also slightly unusual. The reception is located on the 6th floor, and the hotel rooms occupy the levels from there up to the 9th floor. Security is solid, though; you’ll need your key card to access any of the guest floors via the lift. I stayed in a family room and found the layout a bit awkward. I actually had to reposition the single bed myself because it was tucked directly under the wall shelving and clothes hangers, which wasn't ideal. A few other observations from the room: The Bathroom: Unlike every other Travelodge I’ve visited, this room featured a shower only with no bath. I know baths aren't guaranteed, but it’s worth noting if that's a dealbreaker for you. The TV: It was notably smaller than the screens I’ve seen in their other locations. Views: On the plus side, being on the higher floors means you get some really lovely views from the windows. The amenities are standard for the chain. You get the usual complimentary tea, coffee, and sugar, all of which you can top up at reception if you run low. Parking Tip: The car park is located at the rear of the building. Be careful to follow the signage, as there are clear warnings not to park at the front.

Booked the Travelodge Crustal Palace as we had to attend an event in Sidenham. The hotel is obviously a no frills budget hotel. We paid £149.00 for one room for one night. Travel lodge do accept Blue Light cards but we didn’t realise until after we had paid. We arrived on what was a very hot day. Unfortunately the room had no air conditioning, but a small fan was provided, this did nothing other than move the hot air around. The extraction fan in the bathroom was not working either. This again made the atmosphere in the room unpleasant and even hotter after a shower etc. The room was clean and extra tea coffee was available from reception. The staff were also friendly especially the young lady who was working on reception when we left this morning. I will not be booking this hotel again; reasons are; it’s very basic, and my wife and I had a very uncomfortable nights sleep. We travelled five hours up to London on the Saturday and had a return journey home to make after having virtually no sleep and sweating buckets through the night.
