About W12 Rooms
Uxbridge Road runs straight through the heart of West London's Shepherd's Bush and White City area, and it's here that W12 Rooms makes its home, with the area's shopping centres, restaurants and transport links all within easy reach. The 19 rooms are straightforward and modern, each with a mini-fridge, complimentary water and a good shower, plus air conditioning and free WiFi throughout. Some guests have found the beds on the firmer side, but the rooms are kept clean and the overall standard is solid for the price.
Breakfast is available on-site, and there's a lift for those who'd rather skip the stairs, along with luggage storage and porter and concierge services for guests who need a hand. The property also has a gym and a spa with sauna, and can host weddings for those planning an event nearby.
Outside the door, the local area offers plenty of pubs, bars and restaurants, along with entertainment options nearby, making it a practical base for exploring this part of London. Staff on-site are consistently described as friendly and helpful, and the location's transport links mean the rest of the city is never far away.
What guests say
Cheap, cheerful, and spot on for a quick stay! Stayed here for one night and it’s crackin' value for money. The room was spotless and well-looked-after considering what you pay, and the folks at reception were lovely and proper polite. Just a quick heads-up: I was up on the 4th floor and there’s no lift, so be prepared for a bit of a climb! There were some roadworks outside (visited in May '26) and you can hear the traffic, but honestly, it wasn't bothersome at all. There’s no parking on-site, but you can easily leave your car at the shopping centre which is only a 10-minute stroll away. The street itself is buzzing with loads of handy shops and amenities. Perfect for backpackers or anyone needing a decent bed for a layover. Happy to recommend it for a short stop!

I rarely write reviews but my stay at W12 definitely warrants one. The only positive thing I can say about this hotel is the fact that it's a minute walking distance from the Westfield mall and the Shepherds Bush train station. Now moving on to the negatives, the pictures on the website of the rooms are far from the truth. The carpets are stained, the rooms are tiny, the beds are uncomfortable. I stayed there for 4 nights and each day I asked them to fix my air conditioner and it was never fixed. At one point, the receptionist stated that "increasing the temperature of the thermostat wasn't a good idea because having the AC on too low puts too much stress on the system". The bathrooms are modernized, unfortunately when you shower, more than half of the restroom floor gets wet because it doesn't have a glass door. The Wi-Fi at this hotel is actually the worst I've had at any hotel I have ever stayed at. I have no idea how this hotel is categorized at a 4 star. I've stayed at motels that are nicer than this. Do yourself a favor, don't fall into the same trap as me. Avoid booking here and find yourself even a decent 3 star hotel because I promise it will be nicer than this place.

1st of all, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly! Room.on the top floor was okay, a tad small but we were only there for one day. Cleanliness was reasonable, needs a thorough clean and the bed was reasonable. Bathroom was decent enough Location though was perfect for underground, or as we did, walk to Hyde Park for a gig

Had a very pleasant stay at W12 Rooms. The room was clean, cozy, and well-maintained, making it very comfortable after a long day out. The location is excellent—just a short walk to the train station, which made getting around London very convenient. The price is also very reasonable for what you get. What stood out the most was the staff—they were friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist. Overall, a great value stay and I would definitely come back.
