The vibe is welcoming and cozy. Hands down the best Chicken Tikka Masala I’ve ever had. I ordered spicy with mushroom rice and it was amazing. The samosas have a sweet yet tangy dipping sauce. Binjal is a great host.

Had an amazing experience at 1947! The food was absolutely delicious and full of authentic flavor. The staff were incredibly friendly and helped us choose dishes perfectly suited to our taste. Excellent service and fantastic food 😍— highly recommended!

Me and my partner came to get butter chicken which is my favourite Indian dish. There’s plenty of Indian restaurants in the area but this one is by far the best. The chicken was super delicious and I didn’t even realise it’s not actual chicken but soya! You could choose the level of spice of the dish too. We also ordered garlic naan and mango lassi, both very tasty. The service was amazing, our waitress Payal was lovely and made sure we were taken care of the whole time. I’d definitely recommend this place and will be coming back!
