Our recent 10 night stay at Doubletree Ealing was very comfortable, and everything we needed in a hotel stay. The room was quiet, the bed comfortable, and the blackout curtains effective. The air conditioning struggled to get the room to my preferred level of coldness in the recent hot weather but it was sufficient to cool the room for a good sleep. The queen room was certainly on the small side but logically laid out which made for a comfortable stay. The lobby air conditioning was effective and made the lobby a very pleasant place to sit and have a drink in the heat wave. Every single staff member we dealt with was lovely, helpful, and friendly. The hotel is located a very short stroll to the Ealing Common station (District Line) and about 12 minutes easy walk to Ealing Broadway station (Elizabeth Line—air conditioned and 15 minutes from Heathrow and 12 minutes to Paddington). We actually walked with all our suitcases from Ealing Broadway station to the hotel and it wasn’t hard. Breakfast was very decent, with a great selection of fresh fruit and hot options. Would happily recommend to friends and family.

Wonderful hotel! The staff are lovely, the food delicious, the facilities are a very high standard. Can't fault my stay here or the wedding I was a part of. All staff I encountered were friendly, polite and really helpful. This hotel was a joy to stay at.

For the past two months, a good friend and I have been regularly visiting the DoubleTree in Ealing, and every time we have been impressed by the hospitality. From the moment we arrive, the reception team always makes us feel welcome. I especially want to mention Gifty and Hawa, whose warm greetings and friendly manner are part of the reason we keep coming back. The bar staff have also been excellent. There is a smiling Black gentleman with glasses, a friendly Filipino gentleman who always makes pleasant conversation, an Asian lady in a blue shirt with a ponytail, and an Asian gentleman with a beard. Unfortunately, I do not know all their names, but I hope they recognise themselves because they have all helped create such a positive experience. My friend and I usually work in the business desk area, which is perfect because it offers the right balance of privacy, comfort, and a relaxed social atmosphere. The hotel has a luxurious feel, the décor is beautiful, the environment is positive, and everything is always clean and well presented. I also have to mention the freshly baked chocolate hazelnut cookies. The fact that they are offered complimentary adds such a homely and thoughtful touch, and it genuinely makes a difference. Overall, I would highly recommend the DoubleTree in Ealing, whether you are staying at the hotel or simply looking for a comfortable and productive place to work.

I usually stay at Hilton, but the room here did not seem clean in the way I expect and the carpet looks dated to me. There are moths living here (see silver in the photo at the skirting board). Unfortunately only a junior staff member was able to attend to my issue, and the way she communicated and managed my complaint felt challenging. It took around 3 hours for me to be assigned a new room. During this time, I saw several people waiting in the lobby not being attended to. Later on in the day, the “supervisor” which was the most senior person at the time, appeared to me to be defensive when I explained the issues - he categorically said “that does not happen” when he was not there when the incident happened. I ended up involving Hilton customer service in the US, who were helpful and responsive. The hotel will be refunding me for 1 night that I stayed, and no cancellation fee for leaving early. On the upside - the food in the restaurant was nice and the waiting staff were great - I paid for these things separately to the hotel stay. There’s a TV screen in the restaurant area and they play the football on there. The location is ok - it’s around a 15 minute walk to Ealing Broadway. Unfortunately, for me there were too many difficulties overall.
