Afternoon Tea at Park Plaza Riverbank

I usually don’t write reviews, but our experience at this hotel was so great that I felt I had to share it. London was the last stop of our European trip after visiting three other countries, and because of our schedule, we booked this hotel at the very last minute. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by Selin at the front desk, and she was absolutely wonderful — so friendly, kind, and helpful. Since we had two separate reservations, she went out of her way to email her manager, Sophie, to make sure everything was arranged smoothly and that we wouldn’t have to move rooms after our first reservation ended. The next morning, we met Sophie, and she was just as amazing. She personally took care of everything and made sure our stay was comfortable. The location of this hotel is perfect! The staff are incredibly friendly and the cleaning team did a fantastic job keeping our room fresh every day. Having a washer and dishwasher and fridge in the suite was a huge bonus after traveling for almost a month! We also arrived during the European heat wave, and the hotel provided plenty of bottled water every day, which was such a thoughtful touch and really appreciated. A big thank you to the whole team for making our stay so enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again! 😊

Stayed here with my two teens, week before last & we arrived the day of my daughters birthday as we were seeing wicked the next day. Stayed for two nights. We checked in and all the staff were very friendly. Selin checked us in and I have to say she was wonderful. She gave us so much info, a hamper for the kids & when she found out it was my daughters birthday she was amazing. We had just settled to the room and there was a knock on the door, it was another staff member with a slice of cake for my daughter. He even sang happy birthday at the door. She was so delighted. Every time we came and went from the hotel we were greeted by the reception and door staff in a very friendly way. I really appreciated the extra effort that Selin put in to make us feel special. The room was lovely, very comfy & clean. Very high tech and the hotel is in a great location. The pool was also very nice, my teens aged 13 and 16 had a great time.

The hotel was very busy on my arrival so my foom wasn't ready. The staff was accommodating and stored my bags while the room was being cleaned. A few hours later, it was cleaned and ready for me to occupy. There was a strong smell of cleaning solution and the previous guests used towels were still in the bathroom. The hotel was a 30 minutes walk from some of the major attractions which was nice. It's a modern hotel and I would describe it as having a futuristic vibe. I didn't have any issues aside from the towels.

Great hotel - great price. The room is fab. The entertainment for the kids was not expected, but Lisa in Lumiland was great with my daughter. The swimming pool, whilst small was perfect and there's a sauna and a steam room. We had a standard room, which has a Nespresso machine, large TV, separate shower and bath. On arrival we were given a pack to say thank you for selecting the eco option. We also got free drinks on arrival and 20% off the restaurant. My daughter also received her own children's welcome pack. And lastly, it has a great view of Westminster and is a central location for visiting London. So glad I found it.
