I threw my friend a suprise birthday at 'Grandad's Shed' - The venue was so great! We had a bar on the side (which felt almost like a private bar), lots of outside space and the inside was decorated already so didn't have to do anything to the space. Communication was great prior, lovely bar staff, affordable and funky cocktails. The venue hire was free too 100% will be back!

I had really high hopes for this place. It looked really fun online but the reality was it felt like the owner has lost interest in what was once fun. The whole place felt a bit run-down and is probably fine for a piss up but we had afternoon tea booked for two. There was no welcome and the guys working there were wearing dirty tshirts and sweatpants. The food was bad. It lacked any finesse, the sandwiches were poorly made from cheap white bread that was starting to feel a little stale. The cakes were slices of some cheap loaf with a layer of jam and chocolate spread over them. We had mocktails served in teapots that were undrinkable, they were bitter and just tasted like cordial. I don't think it was worth the slog to Deptford and definitely not worth the money I paid for this.

Great spot aesthetically speaking, nice cozy decor and in a nice spot in Deptford. Other than that, staff don’t give a toss. Attitude issues all across the board. Waited 1 hour for a plate of nachos and a sorry portion of cheese. Staff clear full drinks from table, Which usually I don’t care, but theee cocktails are £40. After an argument, they did agree to remake my cocktail, but that still ultimately spoiled the entire experience.

Had a lovely time at bottomless brunch! Drinks were refilled super quickly, food was great, some picky foods and then sandwiches and chips (doesn’t sound a lot but it was really filling). Cocktails were strong unlike other bottomless brunches. Waiter was super friendly. Decorations were so quirky and made it such a vibe. Me and my partner had a great time, thank you!
