Afternoon Tea-lights The afternoon tea at The Melody is so worth it. Not only is the food delicious and plentiful, the choice of teas is superb, the service is impeccable and the atmosphere is so very welcoming. This was our second time at the Melody and we were blown away yet again. Danny welcomed us to our table in the bar area with a warm smile and an expert knowledge of all the scotches and whiskeys in the glass cases around us. Christina our server was very attentive to our needs and my wife’s allergies. We had more than enough to eat and drink, with plenty of leftovers to take home with us for an evening snack. If you want to experience true London afternoon tea in a historical setting, with an unlimited assortment of teas to try and without the high prices of traditional tea houses, you have to try The Melody.

I stopped by to have afternoon tea with salmon and had a lovely experience. The waiter, Anthony, truly went above and beyond with attentive service and conversation. He alone really made the experience fantastic! The scones-specially the cinnamon raisin one was absolutely divine. The scones were so good -I actually would have preferred to have more contain stead of sweets lol. I ate outside in a perfect spring day and the garden area and building are lovely. The price is fantastic for what you get, especially for London! Will most certainly be back!

Such an elegant experience for an unbeatable price!! The service was excellent, and the servers were able to accommodate our individual requests. The food & tea were delicious (many varieties of sandwiches & mini sweets) - you will leave feeling full!! Afternoon tea in London is a must, and the Melody does it the best!!

Was here for a formal sit down dinner event with a group of Rotarians and so can it really compare service with what most people would get on a usual day. However the food was extremely tastefully done and flavourful. The Tomato and Mozzarella Salad bowl is a must have. The Lamb Shank was cooked really well and "separated" so easily and gently from the bone. The greens served with it were healthy too. I rounded it up with a chocolate brownie and ice cream which was delicious (and hot!) Great food. Vintage setting. Good service. The private dining area is worth considering, for a group of about 20 people.
