An excellent choice. I had the lamb shin with potatoes and aubergine and it was absolutely delicious. The toffee pudding was great too. The staff was great. Would recommend for anyone staying near King's Cross.

We were staying over the road in the Park Plaza so called in for a beer and sat outside on a warm the June evening. Great beer selection with three hand pulled beers plus lots of other choice. Typical English pub with really friendly staff. We sampled the scotch egg and chorizo bar snacks which were very good. The food menu looks good and look forward to coming back to try it.

Lovely pub with a great selection of Beers The Hake was beautifully cooked, flavour wise incredible. The steak frites was-cooked to perfection, however the quality of the mea did not match the price tag. Bottom line A very decent meal £65 for 2 with 2 drinks

Fantastic Sunday meal at the Union Tavern! We had the butternut squash soup, the Sunday roast, and finished with the Christmas pudding—every dish was absolutely delicious. The food was beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and felt like classic comfort done right. The service was equally great: friendly, attentive, and welcoming without being overbearing. A wonderful spot for a relaxed, high-quality meal. Highly recommend!
