What diners say
What can I say… everything was impeccable. The food - AMAZING. We took the tasting menu, every dish was unique and sooo good. At the same time the food still tasted like what it was supposed to be, the aim was to bring out the best from the ingredients, but not overdo it with the ‘originality’, as it often happens with fine dining tasting menus. The staff were so attentive and nice, without being snobbish. I just loved the whole experience, best food I’ve had in London for sure.

Incredible restaurant. Highlights, as everyone else would say, were the manti dumplings, lamb, and açma bread. Also the barba cocktail was outstanding. We recommend getting the set sharing platter so you can enjoy many of the delights Yeni can offer.

We had a fantastic meal at Yeni, which firmly stands out as one of the top restaurants in London. We started with the açma basket with smoked butter, followed by the pastırma and the fried kelle cheese with yufka, walnuts, and oregano honey. Everything was beautifully executed and very satisfying. For mains, the İnegöl grilled beef köfte with truffle butter was excellent, juicy and full of flavour. The irişkit was also very memorable and deeply savoury. The wood-fired lamb cut of the day was high quality and well cooked. That said, there was slightly too much chilli on both the lamb and the samphire, which overpowered the natural flavours at times. To finish, the twist to sütlaç was both revolting and comforting, and the house-churned ice creams, the smoked chocolate and sahlep, were distinctive and very well made. We were also very pleased to see Beylerbeyi rakı on the menu, which is a great touch. Overall, a very strong dining experience. Creative, refined and confident cooking. Definitely one of the top restaurants in London and we would happily return.

Yeni London is a remarkable success, masterfully adapting regional Turkish flavors into a modern fusion concept. The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming, and the culinary journey they offer is both exploratory and deeply satisfying. From the starters to the service, almost every detail was executed to perfection. The food highlights were numerous. The Inegöl köfte was magnificent, and their take on açma (traditional Turkish bagel) has been elevated to an entirely new dimension. The pastırma was a standout—it literally transported me to Kayseri and back right there at the table. We also tried both the meat and vegetarian mantı options; the richness of the butter sauce made it one of the best mantı experiences I've ever had. The kelle cheese and their unique interpretation of sarma provided flavors I hadn't encountered before, which was a delightful surprise. The octopus was another highlight—perfectly cooked, tender, juicy, and with a delicate aroma that wasn't overwhelming. However, the absolute star of the night was the slow-cooked lamb. It had the rich consistency of tandır but was as light as a yaprak döner, making it effortless and incredibly satisfying to eat. My only point of constructive criticism would be the desserts; while good, they could be elevated slightly to match the exceptionally high standard of the rest of the menu. The service was impeccable throughout the night. A huge congratulations and best wishes to Civan Er and the entire team on this journey. We truly appreciated the hospitality and the culinary artistry.
