Lunan Bay

Gorgeous site. Staff are all friendly and attentive. Pitches are a nice size I thought, we were staying on an electrical hookup pitch and were blessed for space. Toilets are nice with sanitary products stocked up. Showers were amazing with two hair and body wash dispensers within each one, the showers could get as hot as you could possibly need and are easy to adjust. The washing up station was perfectly pleasant with a small cupboard labelled “Useful things” which had some basic toiletries and necessities at random that seemed to have been donated or left behind which we found really useful and sustainable. The cafe on site was delightful, lovely ice cream selection and great selection of drinks as well as good hot food. The beach is so close to the site, just a walk through the beach car park next to the site and you’re there. Really couldn’t recommend enough, can’t wait to return.

Found this site online and booked a couple of nights Wasn't sure what to expect but we were so happy we did 😊 Plenty of space. Electric hook up Clean. Quiet. And right next to the amazing beach Great place for dogs. And one of the best campsites we have experienced for being so dog friendly which we love Great cafe bar with fantastic staff and great service. Highly recommend. Little gem of a site had everything we wanted Will definitely be back

Had a wonderful night stay in our campervan. Electric hook up and all services available, washing dishes station, toilets and individual showers. Well priced. Short walk to the beautiful beach. Quiet and secluded.

The only good thing about this campsite is the location . On its doorstep is one of the nicest beaches I’ve came across in Scotland. The toilets & facilities are non existent. We never came across one staff member for the 2 days we were there. If you manage to actually find the campsite (no signs) , You let yourself in through a manual gate just a few metres off the main access road which is a 2 man job as there is nothing to hook the gate onto. You go down a bumpy track to the campsite . There is no signs or map to show you where the facilities are , the water fill up is hidden behind a bush with no visible sign , the water drain is on the grass to the right hand side as you go down the road with a small sign marking it if you dare to do some off-roading. It is by far the worst campsite I have ever visited and it’s clear the owners do not care , which is obvious due to the state of the place . The toilet block (if you can call it that) compromises of 2 toilets & 2 showers for the whole campsite and I wouldn’t let my dog use the shower as it was disgusting . It’s not a budget site by any means at £28 per night . All in all , It’s a real shame as it could be a fantastic site with the right management.
