About Travelodge Luton
Each of the 106 rooms at Travelodge Luton comes with an en-suite bathroom and drinks making facilities, a simple, no-frills setup that suits a short stopover rather than a long stay. Accessible rooms are available, and with four floors served by a lift, getting to and from your room is straightforward. Some guests have found the rooms run warm and can pick up noise from nearby corridors or roads, so it is worth bearing in mind if you're a light sleeper.
Downstairs there's a restaurant and bar for an evening drink or meal, breakfast is available to set you up for the day, and 24 hour reception means arrivals and departures are never a problem. An electric vehicle charge point is on site, and parking is available at the front of the hotel for a fee, arranged by registering your vehicle with reception. The hotel is pet friendly, so travelling with an animal isn't an issue.
Just off the M1, the hotel gives easy access to Luton Airport and Luton Hospital, making it a practical base for early flights or hospital visits. There's a KFC nearby for a quick bite, along with other pubs and restaurants in the area, and a golf course and entertainment options within reach for anyone extending their stay.

I stayed at this hotel while working as a shuttle bus driver for the F1 event, and unfortunately my experience was very disappointing. Room: The bed was extremely uncomfortable and very hard. The only bedding provided was a thin sheet, which felt more like staying abroad than in a UK hotel. The room was ridiculously warm, with no air conditioning. Instead, there was a small fan that simply circulated warm air around the room. Even with the window open, the room remained unbearably hot, despite it not being a particularly warm day or evening outside. As a result, I barely slept at all. The room conditions were absolutely appalling. Service: A few of us drivers decided to eat at the hotel after a long day. We were greeted by a member of the bar staff who was extremely rude and lacked basic customer service skills (the woman with the big lips)After working long hours at an event such as the F1, this was the last thing we needed. The food was also overpriced. We were told that we could only order pizza because the kitchen was too busy and only had one cooker available. For a large company like Travelodge, that seems completely inadequate. To make matters worse, the food took almost two hours to arrive. Overall, the hotel was poorly managed, uncomfortable, and offered very poor service. I would not choose to stay here again.

If I could give this place less than 1 star, I absolutely would. The only thing good about it was the location, close to the motorway. This was, without question, one of the worst hotel stays I've ever had. The room was unclean, and I honestly wish I'd taken photos of the stains on the bed sheets because they were disgusting. We also didn't have enough towels and had to keep asking reception for basic essentials throughout our 3-night stay. The only reason we stayed was because it was Reggaeland weekend and every other hotel nearby was completely sold out. Had there been anything else available, I would have paid any price to stay elsewhere. The staff were completely inhospitable and gave the impression that guests were an inconvenience rather than customers. Breakfast was equally disappointing—dirty cups, old wrinkled fruit, rubbery microwaved eggs, and stale croissants. It was honestly one of the worst hotel breakfasts I've experienced. The hotel itself felt more like a cell block than somewhere you'd actually want to spend a few nights. I genuinely can't believe we paid to stay here. And don't even get me started on the security guard outside. He spent what felt like half the night standing outside chatting loudly on his phone with his friends, keeping us awake. It got so bad that I actually had to shout out of the window and ask him to be quiet. Overall, this was a terrible experience from start to finish. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Really clean hotel and great value. Room, bathroom and bedding were spotless. I was alone but I found three beds in the room. I believe this is the standard room they offer. It was ok and it didn't bother me at all. One thing I really appreciated was that the windows actually open for fresh air. I've stayed in other hotels where they're sealed shut and it feels stuffy, so this was a big plus. Downsides: the shower was a bit slow to drain/run, and there was some damaged plastic in the bath, probably to cover a crack. The shower hose in the bathtub was positioned directly above the tap, so I had to stand right over the drain to shower. I found it really uncomfortable. I think it would be better to move the shower hose to the middle of the bathtub. That way, showering would be more convenient and guests could enjoy it with more space, without feeling so cramped. Nothing major though. Really close to the hospital and to the airport . Easy connection with busses . Would definitely book again if I'm in the area.

I stayed at Travelodge Luton for 7 nights and had a very pleasant experience. The hotel was clean and well maintained throughout my stay, and the staff at reception were friendly and helpful whenever we needed assistance. I was traveling with my dog, and it was great that the hotel did not charge a nightly fee for pets. The staff were very kind and welcoming to my dog, which made the stay even more comfortable. The location was also very convenient, with parks nearby that made it easy to take my dog for walks, and it was easy to move around the area. The room was comfortable and we had a good, restful stay. The breakfast was also good value for money, with nice food and enough variety to start the day well. Overall, everything about the stay was positive. It was a comfortable and convenient place to stay, and I would happily return. 🐕🏨
