About The East End Arms

A traditional pub-with-rooms rather than a large hotel, The East End Arms brings the character of a proper English local to its spot on Lymington Road, just outside Lymington. Its bar and restaurant have the feel of a village pub, with a garden and outdoor seating for warmer days, while the bedrooms themselves are simple and comfortable, each with an en-suite bathroom.

The kitchen has built a solid reputation, with fish and chips a particular favourite alongside more ambitious dishes such as cheese soufflé and duck confit, all served at fair prices. Breakfast is included, packed lunches can be arranged, and drinks can be brought to the room, though popular menu items do occasionally run out during busy periods. Free WiFi and 24 hour reception cover the practical side of a stay.

Free on-site parking makes it easy to explore the surrounding New Forest, with Beaulieu within reach and plenty to fill the days: walking and cycling routes, golf, fishing, and further pubs and restaurants nearby for those who fancy a change of scene.

Well..... what a Beaut little find. The East End Arms was Perfect. We had been roadtrippin around Wales and Southern England for 10 days and it was our final night before heading back to London and home to Australia. Finally, everything was right. When travelling there are places with hard beds or flat pillows or grumpy staff and we had had them all and then we checked in at The East End Arms! Daisy was just Amazing 👏 🤩 She was quick, polite, courteous and happy! Juggling the afternoon bar patrons and checking us in and making us feel comfortable and quite at home she was everywhere doing whatever it took to make everyone happy! Lovely to see her work. She also served our dinner, which was Excellent, helped us choose, gave us local advice and had time to chat with the Aussies! The beds and pillows were the most Comfy of our whole trip.... well exceeding the more expensive places we stayed at in London and the room was a reasonable size and exceptionally clean. The windows opened which was nice for fresh air as well. We felt Happy, Appreciated as guests and would Love to revisit if we are in the U.K. again. Lovely spot.

Booked here for an evening meal while on a weekend break. Really lovely old pub on a quiet road. The staff and service were really friendly and nice! Very warm evening, so sat outside under pretty silk marquee. The food was delicious (lamb kofta and Caesar salad). Definitely would come back when in the area again, thank you 😊

Gorgeous oasis of a pub (that serves both draught Guinness + cans of 0.0 💪🏻) with charm and a fireplace and a brilliant restaurant adjacent that serves a delicious Guinness braised ox cheek & a array of tasty desserts. The rooms are cosy with everything you could want, all of the staff were friendly, helpful and very efficient and the breakfasts were perfect! Literally couldn’t ask for more - highly recommend and highly recommend thanks to everyone at the East End Arms!

I haven't been here for a while, I do live some distance away but so pleased that my friend and I visited today. This pub is very well presented, I love the rock star pictures on the walls, the fresh floral displays on all tables. It was lovely and warm with a great ambience and a very warm welcome. They supported my dietary requirement, no fuss just very willing and served a great plate of food for both of us. Looking forward to visiting again . Big thank you to staff/chef for making our lunch very enjoyable xx
