About The Bath Hotel
The Bath Hotel has overlooked Lynmouth's harbour under the same family's ownership since 1951, making it one of the longest continuously run hotels in either village. Its 20 en suite rooms are individually and somewhat eclectically decorated, with the majority looking directly out over the harbour and bay.
The hotel's restaurant and bar serve straightforward, well-priced food through the season, drawing a mix of residents and locals, and its position on the harbour front puts it within easy reach of the Rising Sun, the cliff railway, and the start of the Glen Lyn Gorge walk.
Its long single-family ownership gives the Bath Hotel a settled, unpretentious character that has kept it a popular return destination for regular visitors to the village over several decades.

What guests say
Had a lovely stay at The Bath Hotel. The room was very comfortable, clean, and a good size, which made for a really relaxing break. Parking is available on site if you book a suite, and there is also plenty of nearby parking with a mix of free and paid options. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable throughout our stay, and George was especially helpful and made a real difference. Breakfast was great with wide menu and all fresh ingredients. A great base for exploring the area would happily stay again.

Really nice experience over 3 days. Great food, I mean really tasty and good value for money. Staff were really nice throughout including in the adjoining bar the Ancient Mariner. The room appeared recently refurbished with a very nice walk-in shower and nice bedding. Room was quiet so sleep quality was good. We managed to park on the street free of charges both night's. The only observation i would make is that the downstairs lounge and restaurant were on the chilly side as the front doors were glass and often partially open to the air.

This is an amazing hotel in an amazing and quirky village. The staff are all friendly and helpful as are the people in the village. We arrived as the annual SteamPunk parade was winding down and all the villagers were dressed in quirky Victorian costumes and enjoying a wonderful day, but they were all willing to chat to strangers and explain the reasoning behind the parade. The rooms are period decorated but with comfortable beds and clean spacious bathrooms. Altogether a very pleasant experience.

Cannot comment on hotel rooms, we only enjoyed the restaurant. Very nice food and decent service. We did eat at the beginning of the night, so was very quiet.
