I travelled all the way from Birmingham to experience the 70mm IMAX at Vue Cinema Printworks, as it was the closest option to me apart from the BFI IMAX in London, and it was well worth the journey. I visited for the 10:45pm showing of The Odyssey in 70mm IMAX. The cinema wasn't too busy, with most of the people there attending the same screening, which made for a great atmosphere without feeling overcrowded. The staff provided good customer service and were friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The 70mm IMAX experience certainly lived up to the hype – the picture quality was outstanding, and the sound system was on another level compared to a standard cinema. It really enhanced the film and made it a memorable experience. I'd definitely recommend Vue Cinema Printworks to anyone looking to watch a film in 70mm IMAX. It's an experience every cinema fan should try at least once.

This is always a great cinema to go to, the screens are in really good condition and the staff are always friendly. I'm liking the choice to pay extra for comfier reclining seats. It has one of only 3 true IMAX ratio screens in the UK, which is a bonus. Can't wait to watch The Odyssey here.

Hello, I went to watch Mortal Kombat yesterday at 5:15 PM on 13/05/2026. When buying my ticket at the counter, I accidentally left my left AirPods Pro 2 earbud there. When I checked the GPS location, it showed: 17A The Printworks, Withy Grove. Could you please help me check if it has been found Thank you very much for your help. Amazing experience at Vue Manchester Printworks! The cinema was clean, comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Sound and screen quality were excellent, making the movie even better. Really appreciate the great customer service — highly recommend this cinema and will definitely come back again! Best regards, Bao Gia Duong

**Update: Following my review, Vue Customer Services escalated my complaint and offered two complimentary tickets as a goodwill gesture. While I remain disappointed that the original experience fell below expectations, I appreciate that they ultimately took the feedback seriously and offered a resolution. Edited from 2 star to 4 star ** We visited Vue Printworks for the 20:15 Super Luxe screening of The Odyssey and unfortunately the experience was hugely disappointing. We paid around £20 per ticket expecting a premium cinema experience, but the auditorium was unbearably hot throughout the entire film. I was wearing shorts and a T-shirt and was sweating for virtually the whole screening. Rather than being immersed in the film, I spent most of it trying to stay comfortable. We later contacted Vue Customer Services to explain what had happened. While they apologised, they refused any form of compensation because we hadn't left the screening to report the issue at the time. I find this policy very disappointing. Customers shouldn't have to choose between missing part of a film they've paid to see or losing the opportunity to have a legitimate complaint considered afterwards. To make matters worse, we noticed other customers raising the same issue with staff as the screening ended, so it clearly wasn't just us. We've always enjoyed visiting Vue Printworks and this is the first time we've felt the need to leave a negative review, which makes it all the more disappointing. I hope the venue resolves the temperature issues and that Vue reviews its approach to handling complaints where the experience has clearly fallen below the standard expected of a premium screening.
