About Luther King House

Luther King House is a straightforward, modern property set on Brighton Grove in Manchester, built with practicality rather than grandeur in mind. It functions well as an unpretentious base for both leisure stays and larger gatherings, with meeting rooms able to accommodate up to 100 guests alongside its regular accommodation.

Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms and in-room drinks, and family and accessible rooms are available. Guests have access to a restaurant and bar on site, breakfast, and the option of afternoon tea, while free WiFi, 24 hour reception, laundry service and luggage storage cover the practical side of a stay. Outside there's a garden and outdoor seating area, and free on-site parking is provided throughout.

The surrounding area offers a golf course, watersports, entertainment, pubs and restaurants nearby, giving guests plenty to explore beyond the hotel itself. It's a functional, well-equipped choice for anyone after simple comfort and good facilities rather than a boutique experience.

Umm, well it was different. What the ad fails to tell you is that it is a working theological college. So it's like a cross between a youth hostel and a school dorm. Shower was great, bed was very comfortable. Furniture was very old and tatty. Breakfast was a whole different experience. Some cereal and juice. Take a try (school canteen style), around the corner, chap serving, porridge, hard boiled eggs, muffins, croissants and putting bread in the toaster for you. Told me to be careful as its hot. Cold ham, cheese, yoghurt and some tinned fruit. You wouldn't go hungry, but not what I was expecting. Staff were lovely though. All of them we met. Ps. WiFi was horrendous, both of us could only get on Facebook. No news, no football scores, not even my personal email.

Very nice for a single lady. Lovely staff. Felt safe and property is clean and comfortable. Nice garden to sit in. Do ask for ground floor if you don't wish to climb stairs. And lovely breakfast too.

Excellent value room for location. Room temp a little too warm for me but personal choice I prefer a cold room & didn't want to leave window open incase of outside noise. I did turn radiator off. Pillows a little soft but bed very comfortable. Immaculately clean & functional. Some noise from heating pipes in room as forgot my ear plugs (very light sleeper) but no light pollution. Service from staff excellent & a bar to purchase snacks/drinks very useful. Continental breakfast very good & greeted with a lovely warm friendly smile from staff. Highly recommended & will certainly book again when I visit Manchester. Courtyard area lovely to sit & pray/meditate. Thankyou & God speed.
