About Victoria Park Hotel

Victoria Park Hotel keeps things simple when it comes to food, with a breakfast included each morning and free tea and coffee making facilities in every room. It's a no-frills setup rather than a lavish spread, but it covers the basics for guests who want a straightforward start to the day before heading out.

Rooms at the hotel are functional, with en-suite bathrooms and options for families, plus free WiFi throughout. There are also meeting rooms on site for those travelling on business. The overall style is budget rather than boutique, which suits guests looking for an affordable base in the city rather than added extras.

I've just had 2 nights here at this hotel. Wasn't all bad but not great. Pros - Staff were really friendly. Big bedroom with own kitchen, bathroom etc. Quiet enough to get a good night's sleep. Bed fairly comfy. Decent shower and good water pressure. Cons - Very musty, mouldy smell. Feels damp. Bit unclean. Very dated - mirror decoration falling apart in the bathroom etc. Floors looked like they've not been hoovered in years. Ants in the bathroom! Luckily only about 10 of them thankfully. Overall, it's ok for a flying visit if you need somewhere cheap to stay for a night, but I wouldn't really want to return.

DO NOT COME HERE!! Liked absolutely nothing about the hotel. Worst one l've ever been to if you can even call it a hotel. Felt abandoned and horrific. 1) Bugs everywhere -ants and flies on the ceiling, walls, floor, in the bathroom and shower. 2) The whole room smelt like faces. Disgusting. 3) Hard mattress and stained pillows.

Arrived 19/06/26 @ 15:30 for an overnight stay i handed the keys back by 17:00 There was no WiFi no TV lounge The bedroom was filthy the paint was peeling off the walls the window would not close properly and the room 103 was on the ground floor I went for a walk and got back at 16.30 the front door was locked and no one at the reception so spent 10 minutes waiting outside the broken glass door to get back in The wore thing is that on booking.com it was rated .5.3 Also after seeing two rats outside the building I thought i would rather loose my payment than stop in a filthy rat infested place
