About Premier Inn Manchester Heaton Park

Middleton Road runs close to the open lawns and woodland of Heaton Park, and Premier Inn Manchester Heaton Park makes the most of that setting while still keeping the M62 and central Manchester within easy reach by bus or car. It's a practical base for anyone wanting greenery on the doorstep without giving up city access.

The hotel has 84 rooms across three floors, each with an en-suite bathroom, and there are accessible rooms available along with a lift. A restaurant and bar on site cover breakfast and evening meals, and drinks can be brought to the room. Reception runs around the clock, and free parking is provided at the front of the hotel, which matters given how many guests arrive by car for the park and surrounding attractions. Rooms are generally kept clean and quiet, though a few have been reported as less well maintained, so it's worth flagging anything that needs attention at check-in.

Beyond the park itself, the area offers golf, fishing and horse riding nearby, plus pubs, restaurants and other eateries within easy distance for evenings out. Staff are frequently mentioned as a strong point, helpful and welcoming to guests passing through for business or a short stay near the park.

Comfy quiet rooms. Staff are helpful and enthusiastic. Location is good if you want somewhere near the city centre but not too many people. Heaton Park is lovely and nice for a mindful walk.

I had a really lovely stay here. The room was spotless, comfortable, and very well looked after. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful throughout, which made the experience even better. The location is also very convenient, making it easy to get around. Everything about the stay was smooth and enjoyable, and I would definitely come back again. Highly recommend.

I honestly don’t know where to begin with our stay at Premier Inn Manchester Heaton Park — it was hands down one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had. First of all, we had a noise complaint from the room above us, yet we were the ones left dealing with the disruption. The noise throughout the night meant we got an absolutely terrible sleep. For a brand that prides itself on comfort, this was a complete failure. The restaurant situation was a shambles. We were given completely incorrect information about a dinner deal, which led us to book and pay for something that turned out to be nothing like what we were told. Staff clearly had no idea what they were doing or saying. To make matters worse, the restaurant manager was the rudest and most unhelpful person I have ever encountered in hospitality. Zero accountability and zero customer care. The hotel itself was disgusting. Floors, reception area, walls and toilets were filthy. Basic cleanliness standards were not met. The restaurant was barely better than a fast-food outlet — and that’s being generous. Breakfast was chaos. It felt like nobody had a clue what they were doing. There were no glasses, no cups, no plates, and no milk — and that was just the start. The hot food was burnt to a crisp. There was one hot water machine for around 60 people, and the toaster took three minutes to make one slice of toast — you can imagine the queue. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place to my dog. Please do yourself a favour and book anywhere else. This was, at best, a 1-star experience.

I had a really lovely experience at Premier Inn thanks to one of the receptionists, Rachel. We arrived quite late and had made a mistake with our booking by not specifying that we needed all three beds prepared. Despite it being close to midnight and Rachel being the only person on the front desk, she went out of her way to help us sort it out. She kindly made time and came up to prepare the additional beds for us, and throughout it all she was incredibly friendly, patient, and understanding. Nothing felt like too much trouble for her, even at such a late hour. Her kindness and willingness to help really made a difference to our stay. Thank you so much, Rachel, you were amazing and the best asset to the hotel!
