Had a lovely stay here over the weekend. Perfect location for the train station and just a short walk to the different venues we were here to see. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine - a small selection of the usual hot and cold options. The "hot" options were fairly mediocre but this seems pretty standard for UK hotels! I'd stay here again.

I was in town for a conference and had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The staff is very helpful - Rebecca at the front desk was prompt to answer my questions and help with storing my luggage the day of my checkout. The rooms could use an update, particularly the carpets, but they are otherwise perfect for a work trip.

Stayed at the Townhouse Hotel over the bank holiday weekend in May, and honestly couldn’t have asked for more. Location ======== Perfectly located so everything is just a short walk away. China town? across the road. Gay village? 5 mins away. Arndale shopping? Literally down the road. It’s far enough away from the hustle and bustle of everything that at night it’s quiet, but close enough you can be where you need relatively quickly. Rooms ====== We stayed in a standard double and it was lovely. Spacious, clean, had everything we needed. Shower was powerful. Had a separate bath. The best feature given the weather was the AC in the room. Food ===== We had breakfast both days of our stay. It was lovely. I’ve stayed away quite a lot recently and it’s one of the nicer breakfasts I’ve had. A good selection to cater for your full English or continental needs. Staff ===== Everyone we met was lovely. From reception, to housekeeping, to F&B. They couldn’t do enough for you. We asked for recommendations of things to do from reception and she gave us loads (we might have to come back!) Would I return? Absolutely. If you’re debating the Townhouse, book it. You won’t regret it.

From the moment I arrived, Jain on reception made me feel genuinely welcome. After a long drive from South Wales to Manchester, his warm, friendly manner was exactly what I needed. He provided exceptional customer service throughout check-in and even surprised me with a complimentary room upgrade, which was a wonderful touch and made my stay feel extra special. Jain is a real credit to the hotel. His professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail turned what was already going to be a nice stay into a fantastic one. Thank you for such a memorable welcome—I really appreciated it!
