About Travelodge Manchester Central
Walk into a room at Travelodge Manchester Central and you'll generally find more space than the budget price suggests, with a comfortable bed and an en-suite bathroom as standard. Some rooms do show their wear, so don't expect polish, but they cover the basics well and are consistently rated a good place to sleep after a day out in the city.
The hotel has 181 rooms spread across eight floors, served by a lift, with accessible rooms available and a 24 hour reception for late arrivals or early starts. There's a restaurant and bar on site for a straightforward meal or a drink, and the breakfast buffet is a particular strength, with a generous spread that guests return to. Pets are welcome, and staff are consistently described as friendly and willing to help. On-site parking is available for a charge, allocated first-come, first-served once you register your vehicle at reception.
Set on Blackfriars Street, the hotel puts Deansgate, Manchester Arena, and the Arndale Shopping Centre within easy reach, alongside plenty of nearby pubs and restaurants for evenings out. It's a practical base for exploring the city centre without extra frills.

What guests say
The only issue I experienced was with the bathroom. The bath drain was not working properly and took a long time to drain. The shower water pressure was also quite low, so it took much longer than usual to shower properly. It may have been an issue specific to my room. Other than that, everything was fantastic. The staff were incredibly welcoming, kind, and very helpful throughout my stay. The location was excellent, just a 5–10 minute walk to the city centre and close to many popular restaurants.

This hotel literally minutes away from Deansgate (walking) perfect location for everything! There is a small carpark and I managed to get a spot for £10 for 24 hrs check in so quick efficient and easy The hotel is immaculately clean the bar was stocked with everything for everyone and the breakfast was outstanding! The staff are so friendly, polite and helpful plus the room I booked was on 7th floor in a very super quiet area the room was huge with a lovely bath It surpassed my expectations all for £38 now that is value for money! Would I return Absolutely everytine I visit Manchester I will be staying here!

This hotel is in a really good location. Not too far from main part of the centre but enough to have a bit of peace and quite. Its a short walk away. The rooms are scrupulously clean, the bed was really comfortable. We have stayed in a lot of travelodges. Their prices for Manchester are actually extremely cheap for two people or at least for when we booked. We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed on a Sunday but the other guests were very quiet even though I saw it was quite busy. The staff were really friendly and nice too. My only complaints are silly. I got a room next to a door to the corridor so at 9am I heard some slams of the heavy door but it was 9am, so next time I will say I want a room at the far end of the corridor. Other than that, the toilet roll holder was like a seesaw and I would definitely rethink it and use something more steady. But these are small gripes. For 25 pounds for two people these are minor details. I will always book with Travelodge wherever I go because I think they offer the best value for a clean room.
