About Premier Inn Rochester
Premier Inn Rochester sits on a leisure park overlooking the River Medway, with restaurants, bars and a bowling alley on the doorstep and Junction 1 of the M2 a few minutes away by car. It is a practical, reliably priced base for visitors who want easy road access alongside a short hop into the city centre.
Rooms follow the chain's usual formula, with comfortable beds, blackout curtains, a powerful shower and free WiFi throughout, along with an on-site restaurant serving breakfast and dinner. On-site parking makes it a convenient choice for anyone touring the wider Medway and Kent countryside by car.
Rochester's castle, cathedral and High Street are a short drive away, with Chatham's Historic Dockyard also within easy reach, making this a sensible, no-fuss option for a Rochester stay built around value and convenience rather than historic character.
What guests say
Room: windows are sealed-locked, ventilation is poor and thete is a bad smell in the room - at the same time, beds are quite comfy. Service: quite poor - e.g. I waited for more than 10 minutes before someone has finally arrived at the revrption (after 4 orb5 buzzes from my side) to get towels (aparently, room service has forgotten to do so). Breakfast is very nice.

Lovely hotel , and helpful cheerful staff, my premier room has perfect air conditioning and lovely layout and was clean and fresh on arrival , was easy to get parked on site with plenty of parking available . I Decided to eat in the restaurant and i am glad i did , the double stack burger and skin on chips with coleslaw is a proper gourmet burger and perfectly cooked Very impressed with the location also , easy access to local attractions almost next to the bridge but you wouldn't know inside , as you cannot hear the traffic 5 stars all round including a great price for upgraded room Would recommend

Great , en route, location with all the facilities you need and lots of eateries, entertainment nearby. Don't look at riverside location and glorify though. It's by the m20 bridge and trains on a modern retail park/housing development.

The staff at this hotel were very friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. Stayed for 3 nights in early February and had a meal one nite in hotel restaurant which was very good and reasonably priced. Only thing I could fault was the silicone seal on the shower screen was vert discoloured. However, my wife and I would stay here again as it was ideally situated and as mentioned above, the staff were great! Many thanks, Gordon
