Me and my new wife got married here on the 30/05/26, and wow such a beautiful location and the ease and stress free they made was beyond our wildest dreams, from the very first moment on our tour around the facilities here, we just knew this was the place for us, the manger Helen was so accommodating and professional and couldn't of been anymore helpful to us, she and her team really made our day go off without any issues at all, and the amount of compliments we got about this place was amazing, so if your thinking about getting married and unsure where then please take a look around, go and speak with the staff you will get the feeling we got, we felt more like friends than paying customers,,Helen thank you so so much for making our day as special as it was you really went beyond your duty for us and we realky do appreciate everything that you and your team done for us, ❤️❤️

I highly recommend this park for a day out with the family. It's a wonderful spot for a leisurely walk, with paved paths that loop around a scenic lake. A big plus is the beautiful on-site café, which offers both indoor seating and a spacious outdoor terrace. Best of all, the terrace overlooks a children's playground, so parents can relax and enjoy a coffee while the kids play.

This is a great place to walk for the whole family. There is a good amount of parking for a reasonable price and you can park using PayByPhone. There are several walks all well signposted and paved with some gravel and wooded parts but all accessible. There is a large visitors centre with lots of space for families as well as a quiet adult only section upstairs. They have some great food and drink options as well as a good size shop with many great gifts and things to buy. They have good accessible toilets which include baby change facilities. The only downside is that the car park was a little muddy and uneven in places, the prices in the cafe were a tad more than I was expecting to pay and one of the routes, although accessible was a little rough under foot as rough compacted gravel is used which is a bit bumpy for a sleeping baby in a buggy. However this is more of a preference and did not affect my ability to get around the route at all and I would definitely go back!

I cannot put into words how much of a phenomenal experience we had planning and holding our wedding at The Forest Centre. For such a reasonable, affordable price, supporting an exceptional cause, we had the absolute fairytale wedding of our dreams. Helen, Tracey, and the rest of the team are absolutely world-class, and we can’t thank them enough for making our day so incredibly memorable. Helen was an absolute dream to plan with - so responsive, so accommodating to any and all personalisation touches we wanted to add to the day, and we always felt like we were in the most calm and capable hands. Nothing was ever too much for her. All our guests could not stop saying what a beautiful venue it was, how wonderful the food was (most of our guests are not vegan and were therefore sceptical of a fully vegan menu, but were utterly blown away by the quality of the pizza van Helen managed to score us - absolutely gorgeous!), how great the team were all day, how well-paced everything was, and generally what an amazing day they had. Helen is such an incredibly special lady, and the Forest Centre is so very lucky to have her. We will never forget everything you did for us, Helen - thank you for making our day just perfect. The memories and all of your hard work will stay with us both for life.
