The Vale of Belvoir rolls across the Melton countryside with quiet farmland and open horizons. Poppie's Shepherd Hut sits within Shepherds Lodge Retreat & Wellness, a small cluster of four huts set among landscaped grounds that include a shared lake and summerhouse. This is one private hut, yours alone for the duration of your stay.

Inside, the single bedroom holds a double bed with a television, while the open-plan living space combines a dining area with a wood burner, a small kitchen fitted for self-catering, and an ensuite shower room with heated towel rail. Underfloor heating keeps the hut warm. Your own garden has a patio, seating, a firepit and barbecue. The wood-fired hot tub for two is private to the hut, making it good for soaking under the night sky. Electricity, bed linen and towels are provided; initial fuel for the burner is included, further supplies cost extra. Children under 12 are not suitable for this property owing to the unfenced lake in the grounds. An on-site wellness room offers massages and holistic therapies if you want to extend the retreat atmosphere, and parking for two cars sits by the hut.
