The Devon countryside around Exeter opens onto both the South Coast and Dartmoor's high moorland within a reasonable drive. Horselake Farm Cottages occupies a converted fruit barn on 10½ acres of landscaped grounds—Florina is one of six properties here, each named after British apple varieties. The setting combines privacy with access to shared leisure facilities: a heated outdoor swimming pool (open May to September), games room, and children's play area with swings and a wendy house.
Florina sleeps eight across four bedrooms and three bathrooms. The ground floor holds two single bedrooms, a super king ensuite, and a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Upstairs, an open-plan living space spans a lounge with 48-inch TV, dining area and kitchen fitted with two electric ovens, dishwasher and full fridge-freezer, plus a second lounge, and another ensuite bedroom with kingsize bed. Patio doors lead from both lounges to outdoor terraces. The property has its own hot tub, private garden, and parking for four cars. Underfloor heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are all included; a travel cot, highchair and stairgate are available on request. No smoking throughout.
This works for families wanting space to spread out, with Dawlish and Teignmouth reachable for seaside days, and Castle Drogo and other National Trust properties nearby. The grounds themselves give plenty for children to explore between using the shared pool and play equipment.

Myself and my two daughters recently spent a week’s holiday at Horselake Farm cottages. It was a very special reunion for the three of us as one of my daughters lives in Canada. We stayed in Sundance, a very beautiful and well appointed property and outside space. We were warmly welcomed by Sheila and quickly felt at home. It was so important for us to have a lovely place to stay for this special holiday and Sundance was perfect. It was spacious and extremely well appointed with high-end appliances, a wonderful jetted tub, and all the comforts you could need. The beds were very comfortable and every bedroom had blackout blinds. The garden area is stunning with beautiful views across the farm, a lovely covered dining and seating area, and of course the wonderful hot tub. We found Horselake farm very well situated with easy access on good roads to many places of interest, both coastal and countryside. Thank you Sheila for a wonderful stay. We really hope to return again and will definitely recommend your accommodation to anyone visiting this area.

What a great place! Beautiful area. Our cottage was the Florina lovely and modern, spacious , great hot tub. 7 ladies loved it and we want to come again for longer. Thanks Sheila for the welcome and informing us of some great local pubs. Great weekend with lots of memories made.

This place is so beautiful and well taken care of! Extremely well managed! The neighbors who live nearby in the property are gems of Human Beens!! We recently had a fantastic time there with a huge family reunion! Definitely recommend the location, super well kept amenities as well as the owners who are present and extremely helpful! If that wasn't enough we got to see how kind they were when we had a family emergency late into the night. They were there.for us! Offering any help and assistance we could possibly hope for and been extremely compassionate and understanding! Our gratitude forever for going way way above and beyond anyone would! Blessings!❤️🙏
