Stoke Ash is a quiet village in the heart of Mid Suffolk, where walking trails begin at your door and the River Dove is close enough for an afternoon's wandering. Owls Hoot sits here as a converted barn with its own enclosed garden and patio, a private retreat for two that works year-round. A wood burner and gas heating keep things warm in winter; the hot tub and sauna offer their own kind of comfort whatever the season.

Inside, the ground floor is arranged as one open space with living area, kitchen and dining corner flowing together. The bedroom holds a double bed; the shower room is compact. The kitchen has what you need to cook properly—electric cooker, gas hob, dishwasher, microwave. Wifi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included, as is kindling to start the fire. One well-behaved dog is welcome and comes with a bed and treats.

The market town of Eye is four miles away with independent shops and a chocolatier. Norwich, with its mix of shopping and history, is a 30-minute drive. A pub stands a mile off; a shop is 200 yards away. No smoking in the property itself.
