The Great Escape

Shrubland Hall and the surrounding countryside of Mid Suffolk reward exploration on foot or by car. The Great Escape sits in a quiet corner of the area, making it a proper base for a larger group—families, friends gathering for a milestone, or multiple couples wanting separate bedrooms and bathrooms without the constraint of individual cottages.

The house spreads across two floors with six bedrooms sleeping up to 12, split between kingsize doubles and singles with pull-out beds. Three bathrooms include one wet room on the ground floor with walk-in shower and grab rail. Downstairs opens into living and kitchen space anchored by a dining area, with a second lounge and a games room fitted out for pool, table tennis and darts. A utility room has a washing machine and tumble dryer. The kitchen is equipped for cooking proper meals—electric oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer—and flows into a breakfast area. Smart TVs appear in multiple rooms.

Outside, the back garden has a patio, furniture and barbecue. A private hot tub seats ten to twelve. Four cars can park on the property. Gas underfloor heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included. A travel cot, highchair and stairgate are available. One pet stays free. The house is non-smoking throughout.
